The last of the fifty sixers for now and we save the most famous to last! These buses have attracted interest all around the country and with them it seems that Plymouth has put itself on the transport map.
Only today we had Dr Ladyman (Roads Minister) praising them.
"I was very impressed; they offer more legroom than you get on business class in
an aeroplane,"
Dr Ladyman said.
Following on from the Citybus Enviros were another batch of Mercedes Citaro single deckers.
A nice smart Hino tipper has appeared on the streets of Plymouth. It joins a small fleet of unidentified white and red Hino tippers. If anyone knows who they belong to I would love to know!
Richards and Osborne Ltd operate this very smart Iveco tipper. There seems to have been a bit of an image change here as previously the fleet has been in a nice traditional green livery...

Vallance of South Devon are regular visitors with a very well presented tidy fleet. The livery of white with a red fleetname will hardly set the world alight but they are always clean and smart. I always like a fleet with nice clear fleet numbers as well - just a personal preference as an anorak!
It seems quite a few local fleets have been buying new vehicles recently. So I thought I would start a quick 'mini series' of some of then new '56' registrations that are regularly seen on the streets of plymouth.
PM Clarke is a Devon based Tanker fleet with a simple blue and white livery - but always immaculate.
