Devon Bus Changes 30 August 2026

Devon County Council have provided details for service changes at the end of August within Devon:

Some of these have already been posted on my listings but quite a few listed below have yet to come through...

• B: Exeter Science Park – Exminster (Stagecoach)
  • This route will no longer serve Exminster and will instead serve the new loop around Matford/Alphington that is currently served by service C. Exminster customers are advised to catch new service X (see below) or 2. There will also be minor timetable amendments.
• C: Exeter Sowton P&R – Matford P&R (Stagecoach)
  • Service withdrawn. Customers from Matford P&R are advised to catch service B, and customers from Sowton P&R are advised to catch new service PR1 (see below).
• E: Exeter City Centre – Exwick (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• H: Exeter St Davids – Digby (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• M: Exeter City Centre – Mount Dinham (Dartline)
  • Operated by Stagecoach with no change to times.
• PR1: Exeter Sowton P&R – City Centre (Stagecoach)
  • New limited-stop Park and Ride service from Sowton P&R to Exeter replacing part of service C. More details coming soon.
• R / S: Exeter City Centre – Rifford Road (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• U: Exeter City Centre – Union Road (Stagecoach)
  • Operated by Stagecoach with no change to times.
• X: Exminster – Exeter (Greenslades)
  • New service replacing part of services B and C between Exminster, Marsh Barton, Water Lane and Exeter City Centre.
• UNI: Exeter University Night Bus (Stagecoach)
  • Service withdrawn. Customers can catch late night journeys on service 4 instead.
• 1 / 1A: Exeter – Cullompton – Tiverton (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• 1: Plymouth – Tavistock (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• 2: Exeter – Newton Abbot (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments and will depart from Stop A at Newton Abbot Sherborne Road.
• 3: Plymouth – Kingsbridge (Stagecoach)
  • Will now extend to Dartmouth and incorporate the 93 route. Minor timetable amendments.
• 4 / 4A: Exeter – Cranbrook / Airport (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• 5 / 5A / 5B / 5C: Exeter – Crediton – Okehampton / Barnstaple / Chulmleigh (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments. Service 5B will now operate via East-the-Water and A39 link road, instead of Instow and Fremington.
• 6: Bude – Okehampton (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments. Will operate via Chapel Street in Holsworthy instead of Underlane and Bodmin Street.
• 6A: Okehampton – Exeter (Stagecoach)
  • This college-day only journey will become part of the main 66 timetable, operated by Dartline.
• 7: Exeter – Dartmouth (Stagecoach)
  • 0545 journey on weekdays from Exeter to Totnes will now start from Matford P&R.
• 11: Dawlish Warren – Torquay (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• 12: Newton Abbot – Brixham (Stagecoach)
  • Route amended when heading into Newton Abbot, operating direct via Queen Street to Sherborne Road, serving stop Stop F there. Minor timetable amendments.
• 13: Newton Abbot – Brixham (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• 14 / 15 / 15A / 16: Bideford Town Services (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments. Services 15 and 15A will no longer extend to Barnstaple – alternative journeys from East-the-Water to Barnstaple will be available on service 5B.
• 18: Brixham – Kingswear (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• 20 / 20A: Plymouth – Ivybridge (Plymouth Citybus)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• 21: Barnstaple – Westward Ho! (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• 21C: Barnstaple – Croyde (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• 38: Plymouth – Exeter (Stagecoach)
  • Will depart from stop A9 on Plymouth Royal Parade.
• 39: Exeter – Newton Abbot (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• 55: Exeter – Tiverton (Stagecoach)
  • Will now extend to Cowley Moor in Tiverton, operating a loop around Lea Road, Beech Road, Cowley Moor Road, and Pinnex Moor Road, replacing services 348 and 349.
• 57: Exeter – Exmouth (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• 75: Bideford – Torrington (Stagecoach)
  • Withdrawn and replaced by an enhanced service 317.
• 80: Plymouth – Paignton (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• 84: Tavistock – Holsworthy (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• 90: Dartmouth – Townstal (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments. The route will be simplified, no longer serving Davis Road or Park and Ride.
• 93: Kingsbridge – Dartmouth (Stagecoach)
  • Will now be part of service 3.
• 93S: Kingsbridge – Torcross (Stagecoach)
  • Will now also operate on Sundays and Public Holidays.
• 98: Exmouth – Littleham (Stagecoach)
  • Will now also operate on evenings, Sundays and Public Holidays replacing service 99E. Minor timetable amendments during the daytime.
• 99E: Brixington – Littleham (Stagecoach)
  • Service withdrawn and replaced by enhanced service 98.
• 118: Tavistock – Okehampton (Stagecoach)
  • Route and timetable amended to serve the new Okehampton Interchange Station, instead of the current Station. The route will operate via Crediton Road and Nexus Way.
• 120: Paignton – Kingswear (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• 155: Barnstaple – South Molton (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• 157: Exmouth – Sidmouth (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• 178: Okehampton – Newton Abbot (Country Bus)
  • Extended to serve Moyses Meadow in Okehampton.
• 300: Ilfracombe – Minehead (Stagecoach)
  • Service withdrawn.
• 303: Barnstaple – Woolacombe (Stagecoach)
  • Will no longer operate Tuesday variation via Guineaford Bridge.
• 317: Bideford – Okehampton (Stagecoach)
  • New timetable including a more regular service between Bideford and Torrington, replacing service 75. No longer serving Weare Giffard – service 386 will provide an alternative to Bideford and Barnstaple, and service 641 to Torrington.
• 319: Barnstaple – Hartland (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• 343: Tiverton Town Service (Dartline)
  • To be confirmed
• 348 / 349: Tiverton – Cowley Moor (Dartline)
  • Service withdrawn. Replaced by extended service 55 providing a direct bus to Tiverton and Exeter, and revised service 343. More details to be confirmed.
• 352 / 353: Tiverton – Tidcombe (Dartline)
  • New operator to be confirmed.
• 357: Exmouth – Budleigh Salterton (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments.
• 366: Kenn – Exeter (Dartline)
  • Operated by Stagecoach with no change to times.
• 369: Exeter – Morchard Bishop (Dartline)
  • Amended route, certain journeys operating via Kennerleigh and Black Dog to replace service 679.
• 372: Barnstaple – Holsworthy (Stagecoach)
  • The section of route between Bradworthy and Holsworthy will be replaced by service 636 (see below). The morning and evening College-day only journeys between Bradworthy and Bideford will be withdrawn.
• 382: Sidmouth – Whimple (Hatch Green)
  • First journey into Sidmouth will now operate 5 minutes earlier.
• 386: Petrockstowe – Barnstaple (Taw & Torridge)
  • Will now operate via Weare Giffard replacing part of 317.
• 398: Tiverton – Dulverton (Dartline)
  • To be confirmed
• 636: Bradworthy – Holsworthy (Taw & Torridge)
  • New service on Wednesdays replacing part of 372.
• 641: Holsworthy – Barnstaple (Stagecoach)
  • Minor timetable amendments and will operate via Weare Giffard.
• 647: Hatherleigh – Exeter (MD Buses)
  • Will now operate via Zeal Monochorum replacing part of 677.
• 663: Chulmleigh – South Molton (Country Bus)
  • Operated by Taw & Torridge with no change to times.
• 675: Cheriton Fitzpaine – Exeter (Dartline)
  • Service withdrawn. Details of replacement taxi service for Poltimore area to be confirmed.
• 677: Zeal Monochorum – Exeter (Dartline)
  • Service withdrawn. Customers from Zeal Monochorum will be able to catch revised service 647 instead.
• 678: Witheridge – Exeter (Country Bus)
  • Will operate on Wednesdays only by MD Buses. Route amended to operate via Shobrooke instead of Thorverton.
• 679: Black Dog – Exeter (Dartline)
  • Service withdrawn. Customers from Black Dog and Kennerleigh will be able to catch revised service 369 instead.
• 870: Crediton – Tiverton (Country Bus)
• Will now operate on Fridays by MD Buses.
