Stagecoach big changes 31 August

 Stagecoach have given their full account of all the timetable changes on 31st August: 

New and revised services, improved connections and timetable changes will be introduced across Greater Exeter, North Devon, Plymouth, South Hams and West Devon, Cornwall and Torbay from Sunday 30 August 2026.

Greater Exeter

Service B – Monkerton – Exminster via City Centre

The timetable is being updated after reviewing customer demand. The section between Exminster and Matford Park and Ride will be removed due to low use and the presence of Service 2 between Exminster and Exeter City Centre. A schoolday link between Exminster and Matford Brook Academy will continue through the new Service X, arranged by Devon County Council and run by Greenslades. Service X will also keep the connection between Exminster and Marsh Barton. With the end of Service C, the stretch between Matford Park and Ride and Alphington via Chudleigh Road will move to Service B. The new route will serve two of Exeter’s largest new housing areas. On Saturdays, buses will run every 20 minutes instead of every 30, adding one more trip each hour. On Sundays and Public Holidays, daytime buses will double from every 60 minutes to every 30, and new evening journeys will be added to match the weekday service.

Service C – Matford Park & Ride – Sowton Park & Ride via City Centre

Following a review of Service C and other services operating over common sections of route to Service C, the decision has been taken to withdraw the service. Alternative travel options include:

- New Service PR1 between Sowton Park and Ride and Exeter City Centre, operating as a limited-stop service from approximately 0700 to 1900 Monday to Saturday, up to every 15 minutes. Honiton Road Park and Ride, offering up to 10 departures per hour to and from the City Centre. Customers using Service C travelling to and from Heavitree can use the high number of alternative services operating through the area. Matford Park and Ride will continue to be served by Services B, 7, 38 and 39, providing up to six buses per hour to and from the City Centre. South West Exeter housing developments currently served by Service C will transfer to Service B. With the introduction of electric vehicles across the Exeter bus network it has been confirmed that these vehicles will be unable to pass under Tan Lane bridge, due to the height restriction, which would force a change of route and meaning it would not be practical to serve Haven Banks. Devon County Council has procured new Service X, operated by Greenslades, to serve the Haven Banks area.

Service E – City Centre – Exwick

Timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality. Sunday and Public Holiday evening departures are amended to match other days of operation, providing a more consistent evening timetable throughout the week.

Service H – Exeter St David’s – Digby

Timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality, with some morning departures will advanced, while some afternoon departures will be pushed back.

Service M – City Centre – Mount Dinham

Stagecoach will take over operation of Service M from 30 August following a Devon County Council tender. There will be no changes to the route or timetable. The service will continue to provide two round trips per day, Monday to Saturday, between the City Centre and Mount Dinham.

Service P – Crossmead – Pinhoe via City Centre

Some Monday to Friday and Saturday early-morning journeys will operate with financial support from Devon County Council. There will be no timetable changes.

Service R/S – Wonford and Thornpark Rise Circular

Timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality, with some journeys times reduced and some departure times amended during the early morning and early evening.

Service U – City Centre – Union Road

Following a recent tender round by Devon County Council, Stagecoach will take over operation of Service U from 30 August 2026. There will be no changes to the route or timetable. The service will continue to provide three round trips per day, Monday to Saturday, between the City Centre and Union Road.

Service UNI – City Centre – Cowley Bridge

Service UNI which previously operated on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights between approximately 2400 and 0400 during university term time will be withdrawn and not return for the new academic year. Customers may benefit from Saturday overnight journeys on Service 4 which will be extended to and from University of Exeter.

Services 1 – Exeter – Cullompton

Service 1A – Exeter – Cullompton - Tiverton Following a capacity review of services between Exeter and Cullompton, there will be some changes to the Service 1 timetable, with some minor changes to Service 1A timetable: Monday to Saturday daytime frequency on Service 1 will reduce from every 15 minutes to every 20 minutes.  Journeys serving Clyst Vale School in the afternoon will be slightly retimed to reflect changes to the school day. A small number of early-morning and early-evening journeys will be withdrawn.

Service 2 – Exeter – Newton Abbot via Dawlish

Due to the withdrawal of Service B from Exminster, customers wishing to travel between Exminster and Exeter City Centre will need to do so on Service 2. Buses will start and terminate at Stop A, Sherborne Road, Newton Abbot. The route in and out of Sherborne Road in Newton Abbot will be amended the above, with no other bus stops affected.  Additional Monday to Friday college-day journeys will be introduced to accommodate college movements for Dawlish Community College to and from Exminster, with an 0835 arrival and 1545 departure.

Service 4 – University of Exeter / Exeter St Davids – Cranbrook via City Centre

Timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality. The route of Service 4 between the City Centre and University of Exeter will change: From the City Centre, buses will travel directly to the University of Exeter, then continue to Exeter St Davids, where the service will terminate. Journeys towards Cranbrook will start from Exeter St Davids and then operate via University of Exeter, before continuing towards the City Centre and onwards to Cranbrook. The change will provide faster and more direct journeys to the University and remove waiting time around the university loop. Saturday overnight journeys between the City Centre and Cranbrook will be extended to and from the University of Exeter, providing improved access to leisure facilities and for University of Exeter students. Early-morning and evening Sunday and Public Holiday journeys will operate directly between Exeter St Davids and the City Centre and will not serve the University.

Service 4A – Exeter St Davids – Exeter Airport via City Centre

Timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality.

Services 5 – Exeter – Crediton

Service 5A – Exeter – Crediton - Okehampton

Service 5C – Exeter – Crediton – Chulmleigh

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality.

Service 5B – Exeter – Barnstaple

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality. the route will no longer serve Instow Quay and will instead operate more directly via the Link Road and East-the-Water, which occasional journeys already follow. The route change provides an alternative for selected journeys on Service 15/15A, which will no longer operate to and from Barnstaple. Some additional short journeys between Barnstaple/East-the-Water and Bideford will operate to provide alternatives to current Service 15/15A journeys.

Service 6A – Exeter – Okehampton
Service 6A will be withdrawn as it is no longer commercially viable.

Devon County Council will amend Dartline Service 66 to provide an alternative.

Service 7 – Exeter – Dartmouth via Newton Abbot and Totnes

The 0545 Monday to Friday journey from Exeter to Totnes will instead start from Matford Park and Ride.

Service 11 – Torquay – Dawlish Warren

Timetable changes, including reduced journey times and amended departure times, will improve reliability and punctuality.

Service 12 – Newton Abbot – Brixham via Torquay and Paignton

Timetable changes will reduce journey and dwell times in Paignton and Torquay to improve reliability and punctuality. Changes to accommodate school and college movements, especially for Brixham College and Churston Grammar School, with journeys timed to suit the start and end of the college/school day. Journeys towards Newton Abbot, buses will operate via Queen Street and Courtenay Street to Sherborne Road, rather than The Avenue, Kingsteignton Road, Halcyon Road, Highweek Street and Market Street. This will reduce journey times and improve access to retail and leisure facilities. No change to the route in Newton Abbot for journeys towards Brixham, however, journeys will start from Stop F in Sherborne Road. Sunday and Public Holiday increased daytime frequency of every 15 minutes will become year round.

Service 13 – Kingsteignton – Brixham via Torbay Hospital

Timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality. The 1745 Monday to Friday Torbay Hospital to Brixham journey will be withdrawn because of low demand. The 1845 Monday to Friday Brixham to Torbay Hospital journey will be withdrawn because of low demand.  A number of Monday to Friday peak time journeys will be re-timed to accommodate school and college movements, such as Brixham College, with appropriately timed morning arrivals and afternoon departures. The 0720 schooldays-only journey from Brixham to Cuthbert Mayne School will become Service 13A.  The 1530 schooldays-only journey from Cuthbert Mayne School to South Devon College will become Service 13A.

Service 38 – Exeter – Buckfastleigh – Plymouth

Journeys towards Exeter will depart from Stop A9, Royal Parade in Plymouth, following a review of bus-stop capacity.

Service 39 – Bovey Tracey – Newton Abbot

Timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality with departure times amended to assist on-time departures. Some early-morning journeys will receive financial support from Devon County Council.  The 0625 Monday to Friday journey from Exeter to Newton Abbot journey will be curtailed to start at Matford Park and Ride.  The 1800 Monday to Friday Newton Abbot to Exeter journey will be curtailed to terminate at Matford Park and Ride.

Service 55 – Exeter – Tiverton / Cowleymoor

Monday to Friday and Saturday daytime journeys will be extended beyond Tiverton Bus Station to operate a loop around North Tiverton and Cowleymoor.  This extension to Service 55 journeys will provide a number of new journey opportunities for Tiverton residents, including to and from Exeter, without the need to change buses in Tiverton Bus Station. There will also be changes to Services 343/348/349 in Tiverton and customers should check the new timetables before travelling.

Service 57 – Exeter – Exmouth via Topsham

New Saturday timetable introduced, utilising additional resource to provide additional recovery time in Exeter and Exmouth, with most departure times amended.

Service 95 – Exmouth – Sandy Bay

Between Sunday 30 August and Saturday 31 October 2026, the off-peak timetable will operate, with departures up to every 60 minutes.

Service 98 – Exmouth – Littleham

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality. New hourly evening and all-day Sunday and Public Holiday journeys will be introduced, providing a partial replacement for Service 99E. Service 99E Brixington – Littleham via Exmouth Town Centre To simplify the Exmouth bus network, Service 99E, which currently operates hourly during the evening and all day on Sunday and Public Holidays will be withdrawn. Service 99E operates a route different to daytime routes and even serves roads that do not have a daytime bus service, which has meant customers have found using the service confusing. Customers should refer to the changes to Services 98, 157 and 357 for details of alternative journey options to Service 99E.

Service 110 – Marldon – Totnes

The route will be amended to serve Foxhole and avoid Kings Ash Road with the Kings Ash House stop will no longer be served. Marldon Road, Smallcombe Road and Foxhole Road will be served instead, improving access and reliability. The route changes provide better access to the service and will improve reliability and punctuality. 

Service 157 – Exmouth – Sidmouth via Budleigh Salterton

Service 357 – Exmouth – Budleigh Salterton Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality. Evening and all-day Sunday and Public Holiday journeys on Service 157 between Exmouth and Budleigh (Granary Lane) will be replaced by journeys on Service 357, which provide a new service at these times to the Avenues, following customer requests. The new Service 357 evening and all day Sunday and Public Holiday journeys will operate the full and standard route and coincides with the withdrawal of Service 99E and the simplification of the Exmouth bus network.

Service 366 – Kenn – Exeter

Stagecoach will take over operation of Service 366 from 30 August following a Devon County Council tender. There will be no route or timetable changes. The service 366 will continue to provide a Monday to Saturday journey from Kenn to Exeter at 0935, with a return from Exeter to Kenn at 1315. 

Service 379 – Axminster – Seaton / Beer

Service 379 will operate until Sunday 25 October 2026, after which operation will pause until the 2027 season. 

Service BC1 – Tiverton – Bicton College

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality. The route will be extended to and from Tiverton, removing the need to connect with Service 373 and providing a replacement for Service BC5, which will no longer serve Tiverton.

Service BC2 – Matford Park and Ride – Bicton College

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality.

Service BC3 – Newton Abbot – Bicton College

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality.

Service BC4 – Axminster – Bicton College

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality.

Service BC5 – Crediton – Bicton College

Minor timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality.

Route amended to start and terminate at Crediton and will no longer serve Tiverton, meaning the section of route between Tiverton and Cowley Bridge will no longer be served. Customers travelling to and from Tiverton should use Service BC1 and customers travelling to and from intermediate points between Tiverton and Cowley Bridge, such as Rewe and Stoke Cannon can use connecting Service 55. Connections between Services 5B and BC5 are improved and will now take place in Crediton.

Service PR1 – Sowton Park and Ride – City Centre

A new Service PR1 will be introduced providing a dedicated park and ride service between Sowton Park and Ride and the City Centre. Service PR1 will operate every 15 minutes Monday to Friday and Saturday between approximately 0700 and 1900. Towards the City Centre, Service PR1 will start at Sowton Park and Ride and set down at Middlemoor, Nelson Way, Heavitree Shops and Paris Street. Towards Sowton Park and Ride, Service PR1 will start at Paris Street and pick up at Sidwell Street, Cheeke Street, Heavitree Road, Fore Street, East Wonford Hill, Sidmouth Road, Middlemoor and Sidmouth Road. Service PR1 will operate under contract to Devon County Council and provide an alternative to Service C, which will be withdrawn.

North Devon

Service 5B – Exeter – Barnstaple

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality. The route will no longer serve Instow Quay, instead operating more directly via the Link Road and East-the-Water, which occasional journeys already follow. The route change provides an alternative for selected journeys on Service 15/15A, which will no longer operate to and from Barnstaple. Some additional short journeys between Barnstaple / East-the-Water and Bideford will operate to provide alternatives to current Service 15/15A journeys.

Service 6 – Okehampton – Bude

Journeys will now be operated by single decker vehicles, provided capacity that better reflects customer demand, facilitate a minor route change and to use more fuel efficient vehicles. The route will be amended in Holsworthy to operate a more direct route via Chapel Street instead of operating via Underlane and Bodmin Street. There are some minor timing changes as a result of the aforementioned route change and to improve the robustness of rail connections at Okehampton.

Services 14 and 16

The number of journeys will remain unchanged, with minor timetable changes. - Service 14: Bideford to Goaman Estate Circular. - Service 16: Bideford to Westward Ho! and Appledore Circular. 

Service 15/15A – Barnstaple to East-the-Water Circular

The timetable will be simplified and standardised to make journey planning easier. The small number of journeys extending between Bideford and Barnstaple will be removed from the timetable. Service 5B will be amended and additional journeys introduced to provide alternatives. 

Service 21 – Barnstaple – Westward Ho! via Bideford

Additional 0515 Monday to Friday journey from Barnstaple to Westward Ho! introduced to ensure Fremington continues to receive an early morning journey following changes to Service 5B. 0010 journey on all days of operation from Westward Ho! to Northam is extended to Bideford. Additional 0032 Saturday (early hours of Sunday morning) journey from Bideford to Westward Ho!  to provide a later last journey to Westward Ho! Additional 0044 Saturday (early hours of Sunday morning) journey from Westward Ho! to Barnstaple, providing a later last journey from Westward Ho! to Bideford and an additional journey between Bideford and Barnstaple.

Service 21C – Barnstaple – Croyde Bay / Georgeham via Braunton

To ensure a reliable and punctual timetable operates there are some minor changes to departure times, ensuring buses have sufficient running and recovery time.

Service 31 – Ilfracombe – Woolacombe – Mortehoe Circular

Sunday and Public Holiday timetable ends on Sunday 13 September 2026, as the service finishes for the 2026 season.

Service 75 – Londonderry Farm – Great Torrington via Bideford

Following a review of Services 75 and 317, Service 75 will be withdrawn from 30 August 2026 and replaced by a number of changes and improvements to Service 317.

Service 155 – Barnstaple – South Molton

0635 Monday to Friday journey from Mill-on-the-Mole to Pottington will be advanced by 10 minutes to 0625 to facilitate a connection with the rail service from Barnstaple towards Exeter and follows customer requests.

Service 177 – Holsworthy – Callywith College

There is a minor route change within Launceston to serve the hospital, operating via the link road and Hurdon Road. The 1355 lunchtime journey from Callywith College to Launceston will depart at 1250.

Service 178 – Bude – Callywith College

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality.

Service 300 – Minehead – Ilfracombe via Lynmouth

The service will end on 31 August 2026 at the end of the summer season.

Service 301 – Barnstaple – Combe Martin

The Sunday and Public Holiday timetable will end on Sunday 13 September 2026, as the service finishes for the 2026 season.

Service 303 – Barnstaple – Woolacombe

The Saturday 1812 journey from Braunton Tesco to Woolacombe, (which returns to Barnstaple), will operate until 19 September 2026 only, which coincides with the end of the summer season. Tuesday-only timetable variations will be replaced by the standard journeys operating on other days, following low demand.

Services 309/310 – Barnstaple – Lynton / Lynmouth

The Sunday and Public Holiday timetable will end on Sunday 13 September 2026 for the end of the 2026 season.

Service 317 – Bideford – Okehampton

A new timetable will merge Services 75 and 317 into one route with an improved timetable. - Frequency between Torrington and Okehampton will increase from every three hours to every two hours. Rail connections at Okehampton Station will be improved.  The route will no longer serve Weare Gifford and will instead operate more directly via the main road.

Service 319 – Barnstaple – Hartland via Bideford

Minor timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality. 1730 Monday to Friday and Saturday journey will be re-timed to depart at 1735 from Barnstaple Bus Station to provide more robust rail connections and a later last departure. 1810 Monday to Friday and Saturday journey from Hartland, which is re-timed to 1820, will no longer serve Milky Way, as this time is after the closing time.

Service 372 – Barnstaple – Bradworthy / Holsworthy via Bideford and Littleham

Following a Devon County Council review of demand: College-day-only journeys between Barnstaple and Bradworthy will be withdrawn because of low demand and high operating costs.  Wednesday-only journeys will be withdrawn for the same reason.  Other journeys will be amended to improve efficiency and support changes to other services.

Service 641 – Bideford – Holsworthy via Great Torrington and Shebbear

The route will be amended to additionally serve Weare Gifford, providing a partial replacement for Service 317, which will no longer serve Weare Gifford.

Service 815 – Park School Service

The service will be renumbered Service 821. The revised route will start and terminate at Bideford Quay. The section of route between Appledore and Bideford Quay, together with Gratton Way, will no longer be served. The service will use Stand F in Barnstaple Bus Station for the morning journey, however, will not serve the Bus Station for the afternoon journey.

Service 821 – Park School Service

The service will be renumbered Service 822. The revised route will start and terminate at Instow. The section between Bideford Quay and Instow will no longer be served, while Gratton Way will be added. The morning journey will use Stand F at Barnstaple Bus Station; the afternoon journey will not serve the Bus Station.

Service 903 – Pilton Community College 

The service will be renumbered Service 923 and will start and terminate at Instow. Beachfield Road, Fremington, will no longer be served.

Service 904 – Pilton Community College

The service will be renumbered Service 922 and will start and terminate at Instow.  Gratton Way will continue to be served.

Service 921 – Pilton Community College

The route will be amended to start and terminate at Bideford Quay and will no longer serve the section of route between Westward Ho! and Bideford. The service will use Stand F in Barnstaple Bus Station for the morning journey, however, will not serve the Bus Station for the afternoon journey.

Services DC2 and DC3

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality. DC2: Bude – Duchy College Stoke Climsland. DC3: Barnstaple – Duchy College Stoke Climsland.

Plymouth, South Hams And West Devon

Service 1 – Plymouth – Tavistock via Derriford Hospital and George Park and Ride

Timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality. Journey times within Plymouth and generally reduced, thanks to the completion of works at Royal Parade and the route now followed. Journeys towards Tavistock will now depart from Royal Parade Stop A21, as part of a package of changes to improve bus operations from Royal Parade. Journey times on the Saturday overnight journeys will be reduced, as current slack in the running times is removed. Minor changes to the Sunday and Public Holiday timetable to better reflect demand. 

Service 1A – Sherford – George Park and Ride via City Centre and Derriford Hospital

Timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality. Following a recent tender round by Plymouth City Council, Service 1A will continue to operate to and from Sherford. Journey times within Plymouth and generally reduced, thanks to the completion of works at Royal Parade and the route now followed. Journeys towards George Park and Ride will now depart from Royal Parade Stop A21, as part of a package of changes to improve bus operations from Royal Parade. While the majority of journeys will continue to serve George Park and Ride, a small number of journeys will start and terminate at Derriford Hospital or the City Centre, to ensure the timetable remains commercially viable.

Service 1S – George Park and Ride – Tavistock School

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality, including reduced afternoon journey times.

Service 2 – Saltash – Mount Batten via City Centre

Timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality.

Service 3 – Plymouth – Dartmouth via Kingsbridge

Timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality, which reflect the route change introduced earlier in 2026.

Service 3 will operate from Plymouth to Dartmouth via Kingsbridge, replacing Service 93 between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth.

Service 4 – City Centre – Plympton via Plymstock Broadway and Sherford

Timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality. The route in Sherford will be amended to serve more of the new housing development. After Sherford School, buses will continue along Hercules Road towards Plympton, turn right into Equinox Drive and serve Vortex Road, Dusk Avenue, Dewpoint Way, Nimbus Road and Equinox Drive, before returning to Hercules Road. The loop will operate in both directions. 

Service 13 – City Centre – Holly Park

Timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality. Following a recent tender round by Plymouth City Council, Service 13 will continue to be operated by  Stagecoach South West, with a number of improvements to the current timetable. Service 13 will now operate on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays, with a timetable very similar to the current Monday to Friday timetable, providing new connectivity and journey opportunities for customers.

Service 13S – Barne Barton – Kings Tamerton

Following a recent tender round by Plymouth City Council, Service 13S will continue to be operated by Stagecoach South West, with no changes to the current timetable.

Service 14 – City Centre – Derriford

Following a recent tender round by Plymouth City Council, Service 14 will no longer be operated by Stagecoach South West from 30 August 2026 and will instead be operated by Plymouth City Bus.

Service 27 – City Centre – Derriford

Timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality. Following a recent tender round by Plymouth City Council, Service 27 will continue to be operated by Stagecoach South West, with no significant changes to the current timetable.  Route amended in the City Centre to operate to and from Royal Parade once again and will no longer start and terminate at Mayflower Street.

Services 30/31 – City Centre – Hartley Vale / Peverell

Route amended in the City Centre to operate to and from Royal Parade once again and will no longer start and terminate at Mayflower Street. 

Service 38 – Exeter – Buckfastleigh – Plymouth

Journeys towards Exeter will depart from Stop A9 on Royal Parade in Plymouth, as part of a review of bus stop capacity. 

Service 52 – Plympton – Derriford Hospital

An additional round trip will be introduced each evening Monday to Friday, with a departure from Derriford Hospital at 2015 to accommodate shift times at Derriford Hospital.

Service 54 – Plymouth – Bovisand

Service 54 will operate until Sunday 6 September 2026, when it will then pause until the 2027 season.

Service 80 – Plymouth – Paignton via Totnes

Minor timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality, including accommodating connections with Duchy College services.

Service 81 – South Devon College – Kingsbridge

Minor timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality. 1730 Monday to Friday College Days Only journey from Totnes to Kingsbridge will be re-timed from 1730 to depart 10 minutes later at 1740.

Service 84 – Holsworthy – Tavistock

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality.

Service 90 – Dartmouth – Townstal

Minor timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality. Evening journeys will not serve Park and Ride and instead serve Sainsburys as per daytime journeys. Daytime journeys will not serve the three bus stops on the Davis Road loop and will instead follow the more direct evening route. 2330 Monday to Friday and Saturday departure from Dartmouth Pontoon will extend to Norton Park, which follows customer requests.

Service 91 – Dartmouth Park and Ride

Service will operate until 13 September 2026, with a return between 23-25 October 2026 for the Dartmouth Food Festival, before ending for the 2026 season.

Service 93 – Dartmouth – Kingsbridge

Service 93 will be re-numbered to Service 3, providing a more customer friendly timetable between Plymouth and Dartmouth via Kingsbridge. Please refer to Service 3 for details of other changes.

Service 93S – Torcross – Kingsbridge

A new Sunday and Public Holiday timetable will be introduced, providing six journeys in each direction, helping ensure Torcross has access to a bus service on these days.

Service 118 – Tavistock – Okehampton

There are a number of changes to the timetable to coincide with recent re-opening of the new Okehampton Interchange station. The route will be amended to no longer serve Okehampton Station, however, will be extended from the town centre via Crediton Road and Nexus Way to Okehampton Interchange Station. 

Service 170 – Plymouth – Callywith College

In Liskeard, the route is streamlined, with Services 172 and 179 continuing to serve more of Liskeard. The route will also be amended to serve Dobwalls in place of Service 172, which will now operate a more direct route. A new lunchtime journey at 1250 will operate from Callywith College to Plymouth via Liskeard, providing a number of new journey opportunities.

Service 172 – Torpoint – Callywith College

There will be a minor change to the route to no longer serve Dobwalls, which will provide a more direct route, however, Service 170 will serve Dobwalls.

Service 179 – Tavistock – Callywith College

There are no changes to the route between Tavistock and Callington, however, the route will then be amended to operate via Liskeard and the A38 to Callywith College instead of Launceston and the A30.

Service 200 – City Centre – Coypool Park and Ride

Journeys towards Coypool Park and Ride will depart from Stop A17, Royal Parade, following a review of bus-stop capacity.

Services DC1, DC6 and DC7

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality. DC1: Tavistock – Duchy College Stoke Climsland. DC6: Plympton – Duchy College Stoke Climsland.  DC7: Pomphlett – Duchy College Stoke Climsland.

Torbay

Service 11 – Torquay – Dawlish Warren

Timetable changes, including reduced journey times and amended departures, will improve reliability and punctuality.

Service 12 – Newton Abbot – Brixham via Torquay and Paignton

Timetable changes, including reduced journey times and dwell times in Paignton and Torquay to improve reliability and punctuality.  Changes to accommodate school and college movements, especially for Brixham College and Churston Grammar School, with journeys timed to suit the start and end of the college / school day. Journeys towards Newton Abbot will operate via Queen Street and Courtenay Street to Sherborne Road instead of The Avenue, Kingsteignton Road, Halcyon Road, Highweek Street and Market Street, reducing journey times and providing improved access to retail and leisure facilities. No change to the route in Newton Abbot for journeys towards Brixham, however, journeys will start from Stop F in Sherborne Road. Sunday and Public Holiday increased daytime frequency of every 15 minutes will become year round.

Service 13 – Kingsteignton – Brixham via Torbay Hospital

Timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality. 1745 Monday to Friday journey from Torbay Hospital to Brixham withdrawn due to low demand. 1845 Monday to Friday journey from Brixham to Torbay Hospital withdrawn due to low demand. A number of Monday to Friday peak time journeys will be re-timed to accommodate school and college movements, such as Brixham College, with appropriately timed morning arrivals and afternoon departures. 0720 Monday to Friday Schooldays only journey from Brixham to Cuthbert Mayne School will be re-numbered to Service 13A. 1530 Monday to Friday Schooldays only journey from Cuthbert Mayne School to South Devon College will be re-numbered Service 13A.

Service 17 – Brixham Local Service

Minor timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality. Departure times on Sunday and Public Holidays amended to better match other days of operation. 

Service 18 – Brixham – Kingswear

Minor timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality. Some Monday to Friday and Saturday early morning journeys will now operate with financial support from Devon County Council. Departure times on Sunday and Public Holidays are amended to better match other days of operation, which also include connections with Service 120.

Service 22 – St Marychurch – South Devon College via Paignton

Timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality, including reduced journey times and less dwell time along the route. Minor route change for journeys towards St Marychurch, which will utilise a new bus stop on Brixham Road alongside Aldi, meaning buses will not need to turn around on Wilkins Drive (this change may occur post 30 August 2026). Three Monday to Friday morning journeys towards South Devon College serving Paignton Community College on Borough Road will now follow the standard route via Brixham Road. 0700 Monday to Friday journey between Torwood Street and St Marychurch will be withdrawn.

Service 23 – Paignton – South Devon College

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality, with some journey times reduced.

Service 24 – Paignton – Foxhole

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality, with some journey times reduced.

Service 27 – Paignton – The Willows

Following working in partnership with Torbay Council, a new Service 27 will be introduced, which provides a partial replacement for withdrawn school services, as well as providing a number of new links requested by the local community. Service 27 will operate every 90 minutes Monday to Friday daytime between Paignton Bus Station and The Willows via Preston Down Road, Shiphay Lane and Torbay Hospital, with one morning and one afternoon journey serving Cuthbert Mayne School (these journeys will not serve The Willows). Service 27 will see a direct service between Paignton Bus Station and Torbay Hospital reinstated, avoiding the need to walk from the main road to access the hospital grounds.

Service 28 – Paignton – Torquay Grammar Schools

Service 28 will be withdrawn as it is no longer commercially viable.

Service 30 – Paignton – Cuthbert Mayne School via Torquay Grammar Schools

Service 30 will be withdrawn as it is no longer commercially viable. New Services 27 and 31 will provide alternative journey options.

Service 31 – Torquay – Watcombe via Barton

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality. Monday to Friday daytime frequency will be standardised at every 30 minutes, matching the Saturday timetable. Some departures from Cary Parade and subsequent stops will be amended to better accommodate Cuthbert Mayne School start and finish times.

Service 32 – St Marychurch – Torquay Grammar Schools

Service 32 will be withdrawn as it is no longer commercially viable.

Services 35A/35C – Torquay – The Willows via Torbay Hospital

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality.

Service 80 – Plymouth – Paignton via Totnes

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality, including adjustments to accommodate connections with Duchy College services.

Service 81 – South Devon College – Kingsbridge

Minor timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality. 1730 Monday to Friday College Days Only journey from Totnes to Kingsbridge will be re-timed from 1730 to depart 10 minutes later at 1740.

Service 120 – Paignton – Kingswear

Minor timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality. Brixham College Blue / Green / Red / Yellow / Orange Services Services withdrawn, as previously confirmed by Brixham College, with customers encouraged to use the existing local bus network as an alternative, where a number of improvements have been made.

Cornwall

Service 2 – Saltash – Mount Batten via City Centre

Timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality.

Service 6 – Okehampton – Bude

Journeys will now be operated by single decker vehicles, provided capacity that better reflects customer demand, facilitate a minor route change and to use more fuel efficient vehicles. The route will be amended in Holsworthy to operate a more direct route via Chapel Street instead  of operating via Underlane and Bodmin Street. There are some minor timing changes as a result of the aforementioned route change and to improve the robustness of rail connections at Okehampton.

Service 170 – Plymouth – Callywith College

In Liskeard, the route is streamlined, with Services 172 and 179 continuing to serve more of Liskeard. The route will also be amended to serve Dobwalls in place of Service 172, which will now operate a more direct route. A new lunchtime journey at 1250 will operate from Callywith College to Plymouth via Liskeard, providing a number of new journey opportunities.

Service 171 – Trerulefoot – Callywith College

The route will be amended to no longer serve Seaton and Downderry, with the service starting and terminating at Trerulefoot, which ensures a more suitable route is followed. In Looe, the route will be amended to no longer serve West Looe Fire Station, allowing for a more direct route to be followed.

Service 172 – Torpoint – Callywith College

There will be a minor change to the route to no longer serve Dobwalls, which will provide a more direct route, however, Service 170 will serve Dobwalls.

Service 174 – Pensilva – Callywith College

The route will be amended to start and terminate at Victoria Inn at Pensilva and will no longer serve Callington and St Ive. Additional journeys will operate between Callywith College and Bodmin Parkway Railway Station. The current 1335 journey from Callywith College to Liskeard will no longer operate, however, will be r eplaced by a new journey on Service 170 and additional journeys on Service 174.

Service 176 – Callington – Callywith College

The service will no longer start and terminate in Okehampton and will instead start and terminate in Callington, to coincide with changes to Service 179. The 1335 lunchtime journey from Callywith College to Camelford will no longer operate.

Service 177 – Holsworthy – Callywith College

There is a minor route change within Launceston to serve the hospital, operating via the link road and Hurdon Road. The 1355 lunchtime journey from Callywith College to Launceston will depart at 1250.

Service 178 – Bude – Callywith College

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality.

Service 179 – Tavistock – Callywith College

There will be no change between Tavistock and Callington. The route will then operate via Liskeard and the A38 to Callywith College, rather than Launceston and the A30.

Service 180 – Kilkhampton – Callywith College

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality.

Service 181 – Otterham – Callywith College

There is an amendment to the route in the Wadebridge area, with the service operating a more direct route via the A389, allowing for reduced journey times for those travelling from the coast. New lunchtime journey at 1250 from Callywith College to Wadebridge, providing an alternative for Service 176. 

Service 183 – St Merryn / Padstow – Callywith College

The route will be amended in Bodmin, operating a more direct route via Dennison Road as opposed to Beacon Road. Journey times are reduced for the majority of customers, partly due to reducing dwell time at Wadebridge Bus Station.

Service 184 – Pipers Pool – Callywith College

The route will be amended to no longer serve Port Issac and will instead commence at Pipers Pool operating via Hallworthy, Davidstow and Delabole. The route will also be sped up no longer serving Wadebridge Bus Station, which also sees the removal of the current excessive dwell time in Wadebridge, providing much improved journey times.

Service 185 – Newquay – Callywith College

The route will no longer operate via the Bodmin Bypass. It will instead serve Bodmin via Lanivet, St Lawrence and Bodmin General Station, providing a replacement for Service 183.

Service 186 – Mevagissey – Callywith College

The service will no longer serve Gorran Haven and will instead start and terminate at Mevagissey.

Service 187 – Fowey – Callywith College

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality.

Service 188 – St Stephen / St Austell – Callywith College

There will be a minor route alteration in St Austell due to long term roadworks at Trinity Street, with the service operating via Penwinnick Road. The 1355 lunchtime journey from Callywith College to St Austell will depart at 1250 and is extended to St Blazey.

Service 189 – Biscovey – Callywith College

Minor timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality. The route is amended in the Bodmin area to operate a more direct route via the Bodmin Bypass. 

Service CC1 – Penzance – Cornwall College Camborne / Duchy College Rosewarne

Minor timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality. Route curtailed to start and terminate at Penzance Bus Station, with the section of route between Pendeen and Penzance no longer served. Customers wishing to travel between Pendeen and Penzance are able to make this journey using Go Cornwall services. Route also amended to serve more of Camborne and will provide connections with Great Western Railway services to and from Truro. A revised timetable will operate for journeys to and from Duchy College Rosewarne.

Services DC1, DC4, DC5, DC6, DC7 and DC8

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality. DC1: Tavistock – Duchy College Stoke Climsland. DC4: St Blazey – Duchy College Stoke Climsland.  DC5: Looe – Duchy College Stoke Climsland.  DC6: Plympton – Duchy College Stoke Climsland.  DC7: Pomphlett – Duchy College Stoke Climsland.  DC8: Wadebridge – Duchy College Stoke Climsland.

Service ROS-012

Minor timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality. There will be a minor route alteration in St Austell due to long term roadworks at Trinity Street, with the service operating via Penwinnick Road.

Service SA1 – Launceston – Cornwall College St Austell

Route extended beyond Camelford to start and finish in Launceston in response to increased demand for travel to and from Launceston. Route also amended to serve Wadebridge, providing a new direct link to and from St Austell.

Service SA2 – Liskeard – Cornwall College St Austell

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality.

Service SA3 – Newquay – Cornwall College St Austell

Minor timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality. The route will additionally serve St Columb Major.
