It’s been pretty quiet on the service registration front, with only a few changes coming through over the past week. We’ve got the seasonal service 171 from Country Bus starting in July, Stagecoach running a one-day Park & Ride shuttle at Lynmouth, and Hatch Green updating the timetable for the 382 as of last week. Lastly, there’s a cancellation from First South West, which is likely just an admin update, as I’m fairly sure it stopped back in February along with the others.

The 171 timetable is already on the Country Bus website, it's a morning journey Newton Abbot to Tavistock and an afternoon return, with a Tavistock-Moretonhampstead and return in the middle. Interestingly the route between Newton Abbot and Moretonhampstead is via Kingsteignton, Chudleigh Knighton then up the Teign Valley to Doccombe. Connections to and from Exeter are advertised with route 359 at Moretonhampstead. The 172 via Ashburton isn't running this year.

Ed03 was eden sessions service be intresting to see if roselyn register it as they took over the eden contract from feb(sessions+internal p&r) as at time truronians future was in doubt the contract was chucked in early
ReplyDeleteED03 wasn’t related to Eden Sessions. It was an education related contract running AM & PM only during term time.
DeleteSorry to correct annon 27th may 20:52 if you look at stagecoach expand from 21st may 2025 youll see edco is on there from when stagecoach won duchy college contracts and was cancelled proberbly in july 2025. ive driven both routes i remember ed03 as it was last time i did a duty from callington outstation(37721). ed03 went from station to primier in̈ by carludden roundabout(turning at graet treverbyn roundabout) then down a391 to a390 for the brittania inn continue along a390 turning off just before 4 lords for doubletree and into eden staff entrance before terminating in banana it did have service 101 at some point not sure if this changed when go ahead did it 1 year .
Deleteedco went past cornwall college through carclaze and trethurgy and in to eden stoping at education building on corner near strawberry, mon-thur am was done after st01 from bude fri am by duty who done the short 271. the pm trip was done by 1 of the depot based summercourt staff. Hope this of intrest
