Stagecoach Summer Upgrades

Stagecoach have given more details for their new timetables from next weekend (23/24th May)


Torbay Areas
Service 12 (Newton Abbot – Brixham via Torquay and Paignton)
Intermediate running times are revised across all days of operation to improve reliability and punctuality.
There are a small number of changes to the timetable during the early morning Monday to Friday, with some additional and earlier journeys from Brixham towards Newton Abbot.
There are a small number of changes to the timetable during the early morning on Saturday.
To coincide with increased demand over the summer months, the frequency of buses during the main part of the day on Sunday and Public Holidays will be increased from every 20 minutes to every 15 minutes, providing an additional journey opportunity each hour.
Overnight journeys on Saturday night, which currently run hourly between approximately 2400 and 0400 from Torquay to Brixham will be enhanced to operate the full route from Newton Abbot to Brixham, which extends the night bus provision to Newton Abbot and follows requests from customers.
Service 13 (Torbay Hospital – Brixham)
Intermediate running times are revised across all days of operation to improve reliability and punctuality, with some changes to school and college journeys, where they will depart earlier to ensure on-time arrivals.
Service 22 (St Marychurch – South Devon College via Paignton)
Intermediate running times are revised across all days of operation to improve reliability and punctuality.
Overnight journeys on Saturday night, which currently includes three journeys in each direction between approximately 2400 and 0400 will be removed, however, will be partly replaced by extending the normal end of service by one hour in each direction.
Customers travelling between Torquay and Paignton overnight on Saturday will still be able to do so on Service 12.
Service 35A (Torquay – The Willows via Torbay Hospital)
Service 35C (Torquay – The Willows via Torbay Hospital)
Intermediate running times are revised across all days of operation to improve reliability and punctuality.
Service 60 (Paignton – Occombe Farm)
There will be a minor change to the route, which will no longer serve Occombe Farm, allowing for reduced journey times and improved punctuality.
Journeys will terminate at Preston, Sandringham Gardens and operate the return journey via Sandringham Drive, Preston Down Road, Duchy Drive and Duchy Avenue before resuming normal route towards Paignton.
Service 120 (Paignton – Kingswear)
The number of timing points will be reduced to assist punctuality. 
North Devon Areas
Service 21C (Barnstaple to Croyde Bay / Georgeham via Braunton)
Sunday and Public Holiday timetable resumes for the summer season, operating between Sunday 24 May 2026 and Sunday 13 September 2026 inclusive and will provide 8 journeys in each direction. 
Service 31 (Ilfracombe to Woolacombe – Mortehoe Circular)
Sunday and Public Holiday timetable resumes for the summer season, operating between Sunday 24 May 2026 and Sunday 13 September 2026 inclusive.
Service 300 (Minehead to Ilfracombe via Lynmouth) from 23 May 2026
Working in partnership with Somerset Council and Devon County Council, a new Service 300 will operate between 23 May 2026 and 30 August 2026 inclusive.
The section of route between Minehead and Lynmouth will be operated with support from Somerset Council and will be operated by an open top double decker, while the section of route between Lynmouth and Ilfracombe will be operated with support from Devon County Council and will be operated by a midi bus.
Connections between the two sections of route are available at Lynmouth.
There will be three round trips each day, with the timetable operating seven days a week.
The service is expected to be popular with customers wishing to explore the Somerset and North Devon coastlines.
Service 301 (Barnstaple to Combe Martin)
Sunday and Public Holiday timetable resumes for the summer season, operating between Sunday 24 May 2026 and Sunday 13 September 2026 inclusive.
There are some minor changes to the timetable compared with the 2025 season, however, three journeys in each direction will continue to be provided.
Service 303 (Barnstaple to Woolacombe)
On Saturdays between 30 May 2026 and 19 September 2026 inclusive, an 1812 journey from Braunton Tesco to Woolacombe (before returning through to Barnstaple) will operate, connecting with the 1754 Service 21B departure from Barnstaple to Ilfracombe at Braunton. 
Service 309/310 (Barnstaple to Lynton / Lynmouth)
Sunday and Public Holiday timetable resumes for the summer season, operating between Sunday 24 May 2026 and Sunday 13 September 2026 inclusive and will up to four journeys in each direction. 
South Devon Areas
Service 54 (Plymouth to Bovisand) from 23 May 2026
Service 54 will operate from Saturday 23 May 2026 until Sunday 31 May 2026 inclusive and from Saturday 25 July 2026 until Sunday 6 September 2026.
A revised timetable will operate for the 2026 season, allowing for additional running and recovery time and also to accommodate capacity constraints on Royal Parade.
Service 91 (Dartmouth Park and Ride) from 23 May 2026
Service 91 resumes for the 2026 season, with buses operating every 10 minutes between Saturday 23 May 2026 until Sunday 31 May 2026 and between Monday 27 July 2026 and Monday 31 August 2026, with buses operating every 20 minutes outside these times. 
Exmouth Area
Service 95 (Exmouth – Sandy Bay)
Between Sunday 24 May 2026 and Saturday 29 August 2026 the peak timetable will operate, with departures up to every 30 minutes.
