Welcome to Cornwall Transit 50
Its amazing to think that we have reached episode 50 in the Cornwall Transit series. With Devon Transit 50 next week that will be one hundred weekly episodes. Its very hard work, but enjoyable and gets lots of feedback so seems to be useful for many of you out there. Its just got a little harder with the updated VOSA web site not allowing searches by date, so I don't get the daily updates anymore, instead having to wait for the fortnightly N&P, which is actually due tomorrow. Thanks everyone for the comments over the last couple of years I have been running these. One favour I would ask, if anyone has any photos of buses out on local routes, especially in Cornwall and elsewhere in Devon they dont mind me using, (with the route number and destination clearly displayed) please either send them in or send me a flickr link (fullr credit etc noted) as its good to illustrate routes with the buses in use.

I wouldn't hold your breath on N&P - the South East and North West ones that were due on Friday 18th haven't yet appeared. Nor the Scotland one due yesterday or the Wales one due last Thursday.
ReplyDeleteThe missing N&Ps are now appearing online albeit late and with odd dates for example the Western one due on Tues 22nd is dated 17th and the South East one due on 18th is dated 21st!
DeleteN&P have appeared, it's just that VOSA haven't updated the dates on their N&P front page to say so! And instead of being fortnightly they seem to be appearing somewhat randomly - London & South East 4 & 21 November, East of England 9, 16 & 23 November, etc. It might settle down, they're putting a lot of their application process for operators online and if that means the rest of us get to hear about things more quickly that can only be good. It would be nice of them to tell us what they're doing though.....
