• 78:Extension of the route in the morning to start from Callington, departing at 07:20. This has been introduced in response to passenger demand from the local villages and local parish council to better link the communities together. 

Looking ahead I am thinking of trying something a bit different for November onwards as so many service changes are coming through late at the moment. The fortnightly updates for Devon & Cornwall mean that some service changes need to be in two weeks in advance which is frequently not happening these days. From November I will therefore combine Devon & Cornwall Transit and have a weekly update for the whole region. This will allow more time for all the information to come through and will also make life a bit less confusing for Plymouth Citybus who have services both sides of the great divide which will now be brought back together in future updates.

Highlights this week:

• National Express: These changes were all for the closure of Exeter Bus Station on the 29th October which has now been postponed so these changes were all cancelled and they remain in the Bus Station for now at least.
• Plymouth Citybus have a few late notice service changes for the 70, 73 76 77 and 78. Full details of these changes are not yet available (as at 21st October). Traveline does not have the new timetables yet. The Plymouth Citybus web site only has details of the changes for the 73 and 78 services.
• Summercourt (Travel Cornwall) register a new timetable for services 453 and 454 from 10th December  when it also cancels the 455.

When the full updates to Plymouth Citybus services are available I will post them!
