After a lot of work behind the scenes it seems that Plymouth Citybus are still very much in the school bus sector for the new school year in September. Yesterday we saw a flurry of registrations on VOSA setting out the new services as from 3rd September 2012:

We will wait for the dust to settle and more details to emerge before commenting on these changes but it does seem that most if not all school runs have been saved which has to be good news.

Excellent news, could this see the old Student Links out and about for a bit longer? They'll have to go at some point, though they may soldier on until the end of this calendar year until they've found some replacements, or, they may be looking for replacements now! Anyway, it's great news that most of the school services are being kept - will certainly please a lot of parents.
