Like Rob, don't like the seat layout (or the colour for that matter)

  3. The new buses look fantastic both inside and out, well done Citybus, just a shame it's £3 from Wolseley Road Flats to the Square!

I've cleared 6 of them already today, aswell as having the pleasure of being the first on these buses in fare paying passenger service :)

  7. To DG875, we queried the handrails and were told that they are acceptable. They certainly look much nicer than the awful pinks and yellows that have been used. Everyone to their own but these are company colours and all future purchases will be as these. Ten are already planned for each of the next two years. Oh, and these will not be off to London for the Olympics. The final one arrived this evening so all ten should be in service by the end of this week. 109 was kept in earlier today for Volvo to have a check over and was on the road this afternoon on 43A I believe.

  8. I think the interior certainly looks different, it'll take some getting used to, but it certainly looks very smart and modern.

  15. Lovely photographs and very smart looking buses. But, the interior shot shows up an anomaly to me. The 2+1 seating in the front area suggests that the 'walking route' to the rear portion should be offset. But the flooring (red colour) is right up the centre line. If Wrights knew that the seating was to be offset, why ever didn't they lay the red flooring to follow the walking route?

    Otherwise brilliant looking buses.

  17. Interior colours are awful, they wouldn't look out of place in a house of a certain repute!

I'm told the interior layout was copied from a certain over operator along the coastline in Hampshire that took delivery of vehicles recently and whose vehicles were just in front of these in the production line at Wrights when I visited? Thankfully they didn't return the compliment and copy the interior colours of these, theirs look far nicer.
