Western Greyhound

I was going to tell you all what has happened to Western Greyhound recently - but I will leave it to Mark Howarth MD of WGL as posted to the South West Bus Group:

I am pleased to say that Western Greyhound won the Operating Excellence award (small fleets ie up to 250 vehicles) at the prestigious awards ceremnony in London today. We have won the award for the second year in a row which is the first time that an operator has won it twice in a row. Runners up were Ipswich Buses, Stagecoach in Cambridge and Yorkshire Coastliner.
Stagecoach West Scotland won the award for the larger fleets, also for the second time in a row!! Stagecoach Devon, Stagecoach in Fife and Arriva Midlands were runners up.

Cheers
Mark
