In an interesting move, Plymouth Citybus has announced changes to Dartline tickets on its own website rather than Dartline’s. It makes me wonder if this could be a step towards eventually merging the two sites, as the current Dartline pages mainly focus on coach services and completely overlook bus routes, leaving that information to Traveline—which, unfortunately, isn’t the easiest site to find timetables on these days.
Starting Monday, 5 January, Dartline will introduce new Day, Week, 4-Week, and 13-Week tickets, coinciding with the launch of several key bus services across Devon.
The company is rolling out new travel zones based around Exeter and Tiverton, giving passengers easy, unlimited travel within ten miles of these hubs. To go along with this, they’ve introduced a range of multi-journey tickets, from daily to quarterly passes, for both adults and kids. Commuters can grab these fares through the Plymouth Citybus app or buy shorter-term options straight from drivers. The Tamar Connect ticket has also been upgraded, making it easier to travel across the whole Dartline network. A full list of route numbers and timetables is available to help passengers plan their trips with ease.
