Devon & Cornwall Transit 2021 Week 27

It is time for the usual weekly look back on what has been published on the Registered Local Bus Services site over the last week. After a couple of quiet weeks we get a big batch form Stagecoach, although nearly all of these are catch ups bringing the registrations up to date with timetable changes made over the last year. So a bigger bus can be used the service will only run to Haytor and Widecombe this year, with the number of journeys increased from four to six. It is  operated by Stagecoach and will link with service 39 journeys between Newton Abbot and Bovey Tracey – the 39 from Newton Abbot to Bovey Tracey continues as a 271 to Widecombe, with through fares available. The 271 will operate every Saturday until the 30th October and also Monday – Friday from 26th July – 3rd September during summer school Holidays. English National Concessionary passes are valid on service 271, except before 0930 Monday – Friday.

There are no planned timetable changes due this current week.

I suspect there will be more stagecoach changes coming up this week as the new bus station opens on the 25th July. A few of these are noted above but I presume there will be quite a few more being moved to the new facility.
