Also of note is the reappearance of 565 as the illuminated bus:

Finally just in case anyone is in any doubt, I can confirm that the gas bus currently on loan to Citybus, is indeed just that - a loan. Its is due to return to Nottingham very shortly. It has NOT been purchased by Citybus.

  1. That is just marvellous. Well done PCB. She may not have been perfect (understatement!) and we live in a very different world now, thank God, but as a symbol of women's progress she's worth celebrating. And that bus is class.

  2. The gas bus was in fact on loan from scania & according to info from pcb has been acquired and will become fleet number 566 and will be repainted in due course, I go by info received from pcb management!

    2. Anonymous 28th at 21:28 sorry but this can't be true if management told me it's going after today and there not keeping it. in fact 566 was out yesterday plain red at Plymouth train station.

    3. Considering it left yesterday for Nottingham, the company who owns the bus, I find it unlikely it has been purchased! It was rather useless in Plymouth anyways as it was unable to do pretty much all the routes in the City. On top of that 566 is already allocated to a 69 Plate Enviro 400 Trident, not a Scania N280.
