Social Media Week 6 July

The last week on social media and elsewhere from the local operators and others that you might have missed for the week just gone 8-14th June

Saturday 6 July

Plymouth Citybus:

  • Due to an RTC on Durnford Street, service #pcb34 has been diverted via Union Street and will be unable to serve Royal William Yard until further notice. We will update when normal service resumes, thank you for your patience.
  • Service 11A due to depart @ 1215 Padstow - Bodmin parkway is currently running 30 minutes late sorry for the delay
  • Service 79 Can not serve Harrowbarrow due to badly parked cars blocking the road Sorry for any inconvenience caused

First Kernow:

  • Due to an accident, buses are unable to serve West Street in Penryn. The U2 14:30 Falmouth to Redruth is not running as a result. The service is being picked up on the return journey 15:16 Redruth to Falmouth

Stagecoach:

  • Why not take a trip on our new open top bus service 222. Stunning coastal views between Dawlish Warren and Teignmouth as well as the Teignmouth Airshow this weekend.
  • The 1409 from Appledore will not be running due to mechanical issue with the bus. we apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Sunday 7 July

Plymouth Citybus:

  • Due to badly parked cars we are unable to service Hannafore point ,Looe sorry for any inconvenience caused

First Kernow:

  • Due to a RTC on Higher Tower Road, Newquay we have 2 buses currently stuck close to the scene. One of these buses is the 1045 Service A5 from Newquay to Padstow which we have unfortunately had to cancel. We are sorry about these events which are outside our control.

Megabus:

  • The 10:30 M36 service from Plymouth to Newcastle is currently delayed due to a road traffic accident. Updates to follow.

Monday 8 July

First Kernow

  • Camborne-46 cannot serve frogpool as blocked by BT

Stagecoach SW:

  • Due to a incident on the Georgerham road our service 21's will not be able to operate there for the immediate future. Sorry for the inconvenience. Barnstaple The incident that was causing issues at Georgeham has now passed and normal route is now back under way, sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Megabus:

Falcon:

  • Delay's this afternoon along the M5 due to a ongoing incident between junctions J21 And J22, Delay's are currently between 45 - 60 Mins.

Tuesday 9 July

Stagecoach SW:

  • Barnstaple #Bude 0630 319 from Bude will be operating 30 minutes late due to a breakdown, sorry for any inconvenience.
  • Due to traffic issues the 1040 21A service from the bus station to Bideford will not operate. Service will commence from Bideford at 1115 onwards to Appledore, sorry for any inconvenience. Barnstaple Due to traffic issues the 1145 21 service to Barnstaple from Bideford will not operate, sorry for any inconvenience.
  • Due operational difficulties the 1355 85 Barnstaple to Holsworthy will be 20 mins late. Sorry for any inconvenience

First Kernow:

  • Service 95. Due to a jack-knifed caravan blocking the road, we are currently unable to serve Crackington Haven. The nearest bus stops will be Tresparrett Posts or Wainhouse Corner.
  • The 68 1348 Falmouth Moor to Longfield will be running 10-12 minutes late. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused
  • Look out for the special livery Cornwall Pride Bus (Fleet 33143) helping out on the U2 this afternoon. 1400 & 1600 Falmouth to Redruth returning at 1446 and 1646
  • The 69 1435 Falmouth to Mylor will not be running due a technical fault, a replacement bus is being sought and will pick up the return service at Penryn Seven Stars at 1523. The following 69 from Falmouth at 1514 is unaffected AW
  • The U2 1546 Redruth to Falmouth is running 11 minutes late due to traffic this afternoon. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused

Ocean City Sightseeing

  • DIVERSION UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE Due to roadworks in the city centre we will not be travelling through Notte Street. Instead, we'll be heading down Buckwell Street from Royal Parade and on to the Barbican. Royal Parade and The Distillery stops will be served as normal.

Plymouth Citybus:

  • As predicted earlier, the emergency lane closure on the embankment is causing congestion which is disrupting services #pcb21 #pcb21A & #pcb51. Traffic tailing back to Laira Bridge is also affecting services #pcb5 #pcb5A & #pcb48
  • Network update : There are no major issues on the Plymouth Network at the moment however there are delays of upto 30 minutes on the #PCB72 and service #PCB11 #PCB11A have also had some disruption lunchtime today but are now returning to normal as is the #PCB20A.
  • Due to an emergency lane closure outbound on Embankment Rd, traffic is currently backed up as far as Prince Rock. This is likely to get worse during the afternoon peak period. This will cause disruption to services #pcb21 #pcb21A & #pcb51. Please allow more time for your journey.

Falcon:

  • Unfortunately the 17:20 Plymouth to Bristol coach has been delayed due to a technical Fault however a replacement coach has been used but the service is delayed by 45 minutes.

Wednesday 10 July

First Kernow:

  • The U1 0905 Truro to Falmouth will be running approximately 20 minutes late due to congestion Eastbound on the A39 near the Norway Inn. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused

Plymouth Citybus:

  • Due to a RTC at Hounster Hill, the service #pcb70 07:48 from Cremyll has had to operate via the coast road and will therefore be operating late. Apologies for any inconvenience.
  • The service #pcb42C 09:10 from the City centre to Woolwell is not operating due to a breakdown. We apologise for any inconvenience. The next 42C is at 09:40
  • Due to a serious accident on Charles Street @ 09.30 (which has now re opened) some of our services are experiencing delays. Services effected are as follows, 8/9,35/35A, 40/41,42/ABC,44/44A,61/62 other service may also be seeing some delays. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Stagecoach SW:

  • #Barnstaple Due to a breakdown the 1700 21 from Ilfracombe to Barnstaple will not operate. Sorry for any inconvenience

Thursday 11 July

Stagecoach SW:

  • #Torbay Due to an RTC on Dartmouth Road, service 12 & 120 will divert via Penwill Way, Brixham Road & Goodrington Road, and will be unable to serve Waterside. Apologies for any inconvenience.
  • Plymouth 17 service is currently not running due to a break down we are trying to get this service up and running as soon as possible.
  • Plymouth 52 service is currently not servicing Bampton Road due to a fire. Once this road reopens we will continue service as normal.

Plymouth Citybus:

  • Good Morning : The network is running well this morning we have 1 service #PCB34 )753 RP-Derriford running about 11 mins late and a city bound #PCB42A 13 mins late as the exceptions. Diversions on the #PCB28 #PCB28A 930-1530. Customer Experience are here to help 01752 662271.
  • Due to the Viaduct Closure in the city centre, our @OceanCitySights bus will not be travelling through Notte Street. Instead, we'll be heading down Buckwell Street from Royal Parade & on to the Barbican. The Royal Parade & Distillery stops will be serviced as normal.
  • Midday update : All services are running we do have some delays this lunchtime on #PCB12 #PCB20A #PCB28A #PCB50 currently running over 10 minutes late all other services are within 10 minutes of time table. Customer Experience 01752 662271 for information
  • Customer Information: Charles St bus stops. Only the 40/41/42/42a/42b/42c/44/44a are stopping on C1 on Charles St. If you require the 8/9 27/27b/28/28a 35/35a 61/62 please use University bus stops on North Hill or take any of the buses stopping at C1 round to these stops.
  • SERVICE UPDATE : SERVICE #PCB50 #PCB51 due to a house fire in Leigham near The Windmill all services are diverted via Novorossiysk Rd to Forder Valley and Leigham roundabout and are unable to service Leigham at the moment.

National Express:

  • Newton Abbot Saturday 13 July 2019 Service 324: 0950 from Sheffield Service 530: 0815 from Newcastle upon Tyne The above services will not serve Newton Abbot due to a Carnival All other services will serve the stop as scheduled. The nearest served stop will be Torquay

Falcon:

  • Plymouth 180 falcon off Bristol is not currently running due to an rtc. Sorry for the inconvenience

Friday 12 July

First Kernow:

  • Service 25. the 1056 st Austell to Fowey is having mechanical issues. Engineers are en route but this service will not be able to run. this will also mean the 11:45 service 24 from Fowey will also not be running. Apologies for any inconvenience
  • Service 24. 12:35 St Austell to Mevagissey is now running albeit 15 minutes late.
  • Camborne-L1 1450 will be running late from Redruth.

Stagecoach SW:

  • #Barnstaple Due to heavy traffic in Braunton service 21/21a are suffering delays of up to 25 mins

Falcon:

  • #Plymouth Falcon from Bristol 1330 and Airport 1505 will not be running due to a technical issue on the coach. Every other service is running as normal. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  • Plymouth the 1720 from Plymouth it currently running 40 minutes late. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Plymouth Citybus:

  • Good Morning : Service update - Network generally running well with some minor delays of upto 10 mins. Torpoint ferry is on a 2 Ferry service at the moment so delays are possible on #PCB70 #PCB70a #PCB70b.
  • Service update: #PCB34 this will now be diverted via The Octogan and Union Street in to town to avoid the heavy build up of traffic on Millbay Road during the viaduct closure work. Buses will be diverted on this route most afternoons from around 3pm to 6pm. Today from 2pm.
  • Service update: #PCB27 #PCB28 #PCB28A We are sorry but due to works over running in Eggbuckland this afternoon buses will now have to remain on diversion until 1730.
  • Plymouth Highways@plymhighways The road closure on Eggbuckland Road that was due to be lifted is having to stay in place due to the surfacing not cooling down quick enough, due to the weather. SWH are hoping to reopen the road within 2 hours but will remain on site.
  • Due to unauthorised temporary lights appearing on Tamerton Foliot Rd this afternoon there is a severe build up of traffic in the area delaying all service #PCB40 #PCB41 #PCB44 #PCB44A services some now over half an hour late. We do apologise this is beyond our control.
  • Due to badly parked vehicles the service 33 is currently unable to service Warleigh Ave. The service will continue onto Henderson Place, then Wolseley Rd towards Queens house
