Stagecoach Launched

Its taken me a while to process all the pictures taken by myself and others who have sent me theirs but finally we have a photo special of the Stagecoach Launch event outside Plymouth Guildall on Friday. Sadly the weather was poor so shots had to be taken in between the wetter periods but that has not put anybody off as there were good crowds of enthusiasts and also normal passengers who were keen to see the new fleet.

There were plenty of other photographs taken on the day, as another batch of new buses were out on service. These will appear in the next fleet update which will follow tomorrow.

Thanks again to all who sent photos in. It was great to catch up and put more faces to names!

Special thanks though to Stagecoach, who have demonstrated a commitment to Plymouth with hard cash! Passengers will notice a big difference over the coming days as these all enter service

  1. Great stuff. The amount of new buses flooding into Plymouth would have been unimaginable a few years ago. Now we need a piece of the action in Cornwall.

  2. Excellent pictures!

I'll be visiting Plymouth this Summer for the first time in a few years. Where's the best place to pick up Stagecoach timetable leaflets?

  3. If Stagecoach can put in this effort why couldn't First do it.

    1. Stagecoach are pretty much the only operator, apart from Oxford Bus Company, that put big money into new stock outside London regularly! I think Go Ahead put money on their major companies too, but not too sure.

should have The Yellows /Green /Blue Buses All painted in The Red Swoops.

  6. I think that First Kernow deserve a bit of credit now, following their recent launch of new stock in the far west.
