    1. There are 16 closed top Olympians still licensed and in use. 8 will be replaced by the Tridents and E400s currently loaned to Stagecoach in Plymouth that are due back in January. The other 8 will be removed as the fleet changes currently underway for single deck DDA compliance settle. They are staying in fleet as a backstop for the rest of this year in case there is any delay with DDA singles. However, there are still 2 ex Plymouth Mayflower branded Tridents to enter service after painting and 3 B7TLs awaited from West Yorkshire, so they are not going to be hanging around after New Year. Other than that the only deckers are the open tops, which can run the coming season in full.

There are another 12 MPDs due in from within First over the next few weeks, and these will be enough to replace all the remaining non DDA single deckers. there are more than 12 still in use, but the fleet size is inflated at the moment to allow for the phasing in of vehicles joining the fleet.

    2. The 93 Newquay to Truro service is normally a good bet for an Olympian with some straight roads to hear what the Volvo can deliver - we'll miss them when they are gone

    1. The closed top Olympians are 34041/49/50/51/52/138/62/72/73/77/81/82/83/84/85/311

The singles are changing pretty much daily as MPDs arrive to replace them.

  5. Do St Ives Buses still use the old Citybus Mercedes minibuses? (I remember 273 being one of them)
