    2. Spotted one of these in full branding trundling past the railway station and up Outland Road in excellent light this afternoon. I had time to get out the camera, but decided against as I didn't want to spoil the fun for the enthusiasts by prematurely plastering Flickr with pictures of them. For an aluminium box on wheels with plastic ends, it didn't look too bad..

    3. Is this right?: we've got 4 at Milehouse, at least 1 of them is 'finished' in the livery, as several people have seen it, we've got another 4 waiting to come to Plymouth as mentioned in this post...where are the other two?

    4. Don't worry Tom they are on the way. It's a long haul from Ireland. At least two are now fully finished, (probably three by now). Hope to have the launch date soon.

    7. Provisional date for the Eclipse launch is Monday 2nd April on the Hoe at around 1000. Once the publicity pictures are taken the buses will role straight out onto the service 43. Please note this is provisional. Confirmation will be published as soon as we know. Thanks for your patience.

    8. Why is the 43 service the one to get the new buses? Is this the service city bus consider their flagship service?

they look very smart in new livery. the 43 has always been summat of a flagship route. if we get any more new buses then other routes may be upgraded in time. who knows?....

    10. Yes, the 43 is well-known to be Citybus' 'flagship'/most popular route, closely followed I believe by the 21.

As Graham said in his Predictions for this year, that I agree with, I would expect us to acquire some more double-deckers to replace the Volvo B10M Citybuses, which apparentely won't be used after the end of the academic year.

    11. It seems as though the Volvo B10Ms will be here for longer than we thought, F605GVO has just had her tax renewed, though only until January 2013.

180/G614OTV tax is due in September, so this could well end up being withdrawn, 181's tax is due in June. Does anyone have a list of the B10Ms still in service?

182/3/4/5/6/7/8 tax are all due in January 2013, and as mentioned 190's tax is due in February 2013.

Maybe we will get some more double-deckers in December/January time? PCB have recently spent £500 per B10M renewing tax, so they're definitely going to be with us for a bit longer.

    12. Ah but you can surrender the tax at any time claiming any full months back. So nothing is as certain as it might seem.

    13. Id be very suprised if any of the old Volvo deckers is used by Plymouth Citybus again after the current acedemic year ends!! Watch this space
