Blast from the past

©Sou'Wester: Western National FLF 2094

I am out tonight so I have turned to Flickr to pull out a wonderful shot from the past.
The 6 and 7 routes held onto the older FLFs longer than the other routes as they had to reverse under the Tamar Bridge at Saltash Passage. This was great for me, but it was nice to get a nice shiney new VR occasionally too, like the 5 just behind this one.
Looks like an old Blue Circle truck behind the VR too.
Fantasic shot!

Welcome

to the new look Plymothian Transit blog.

I aim to cover all forms of transport and transport infrastructure in the Plymouth area.
This new look enables me to feature larger photos and gives a lot more flexibilty in the post layout. The actual posts now take up most of the screen area with all the extra bits now down the bottom of the page rather than down the right hand side.

I have now set up the comments box so that it should appear on the page rather than in a pop up box. This might only work on individual pages rather than the full page depending on your browser!
The move to a new PC has been delayed so posting continues as normal for now
