New bus services - why so secret

Tomorrow sees the start of two new bus services in Plymouth.

The 52A links Derriford Hospital with Plympton and the new Northern Connect service which links all the industrial estates along the northen corridor with Crownhill, Plymouth International, Derriford, Tamar Science Park, Estover Industrial Est and The George Park and Ride. My earlier post has a map of the service here

The trouble is you would have a real job knowing about the services. There is nothing online that I can find to give timetables or anything. Target Travel have nothing on their web site at all. Neither do Taxifast.

I have timetables available HERE which you can download but its not really up to me - and I don't suppose that many potential passengers are going to find them here anyway. Why isnt it being promoted better?

I hope that this service is a success, mainly because it will be ideal for work, especially as I am moving offices in a weeks time and this new service saves me changing buses at Derriford.

It remains to be seen what buses are in use on the service. I am hoping to get out a little bit tomorrow to see if i can get any pictures, although the weather sounds like it wont be on my side!
