With so many excellent photos made available by Phil Doddrige and others I wont just restict myself to VR photos!
2101 M101ECV is one of three excellent Van Hool Volvo double deckers used on National Express work. They replaced the Neoplan Skyliners used previously. I am sure at least one of these came to a sticky end when it got burnt out. Only travelled on them twice - and very nice too.
Sister 2102 captured on camera at Bretonside, again thanks to Phil.

I remember when these first came into service, with good ole hostess service and big tables on the lower deck.. I wonder what they're getting up to now..
ReplyDeleteP.s. I'm pretty sure it was one of the two single deck P-PRL Van-Hool coaches that decided to torch itself, near Exeter services IIRC...
