Five First Photos

The First fleet in Plymouth is looking slightly different at the moment.

Two things at least going on:

The better members of the local fleet are being repainted into Olympia livery, with no fleetnames, ready for transfer into Kernow in September.

Quite a few Double Deckers are away for Rail Replacement work in Somerset so a few singledeckers have been drafted in from Kernow and Somerset fleets.  Richard Smith has caught a few on camera so here we have five First Photos…

Meanwhile…

The new Enviro 400s for Plymouth Citybus are due in Plymouth over the coming weeks ready for service at the start of September. The first of these have been noted in Scotland with registration numbers

Its nice to see local registration numbers being used when so many are now just reg’d in Scotland or Yorkshire these days.

First Repaints continue

Its becoming increasingly clear that First are now on a roll with a repaint program. Two bus to receive ‘Olympia’ base livery are Dennis Dart 42946 and Dennis Trident 33176. Along with other recent repaints, no fleet names are carried at the moment so we will have to wait for the finished article.

First stepping up repaints

First seem to have stepped up a gear recently when it comes to repaints. Richard Smith has caught a couple of the latest into the standard Olympia livery, although neither carries any proper fleetnames just yet.

53154 Optare Solo looks very smart indeed on the 6.

while a recent addition to the Plymouth fleet, having come up from Cornwall is ex Manchester Volvo B10BLE 60379
