Catching up on posts as I have missed a few days!
There was a time when gritting was performed by the older vehicles in the fleet as semi-retirement after normal duties. These days however, new purpose built lorries are the order of the day. Mercedes Atego 1313 WA04ERV was one of two which joined the council fleet in March 2004 with fleet number 016.002 allocated. Both are in this yellow livery.
