Devon & Cornwall Transit

It was another extremely quiet week on the govt website with nothing new report bus I suspect it wont be long before we start to see a few catch up entries as there are a few new timetables published

For just this week ahead Plymouth Citybus are operating a reduced service and four of their services:

All four routes revert back to their normal timetables next weekend.

Also from today there is a new timetable published on Traveline for

Stagecoach Plymouth – Tavistock 1

No idea what if anything has changed – SC may have said somewhere but I haven't seen it

Finally for now, couldn't let today pass without wishing this beauty Happy 60th Birthday

  1. Stagecoach were supposed to be rerouting the 1 to serve George Junction Park & Ride, although the timetable on Traveline doesn't seem to mention it and there is nothing on the Stagecoach website (nothing new there, then). It might be a temporary measure to provide additional buses between George and Derriford whilst 101s are getting cancelled.

  2. As stated before Stagecoach service 1 now serves George Park and Ride, to provide 8 buses an hour in conjunction with 101 to Derriford and City

  3. Of course - I had forgotten that -not unusual for SC not to highlight this on web site but its not really a big change I guess

    1. Why or why is SC keeping running its 1 through the P+R secret and why does Traveline not show it either?? I wonder how much damage hardly running any route 101 recently (a bit better now) did to the P+R, perhaps that's why Citybus is apparently increasing its competitive alternative? Has the latter published anything official yet Graham? Not sure why everything is so hard to find from SC. Exeter stop changes have just amateur hour hand written notes attached to stops!! A case of too many staff redundancies at SC with no roadside publicity team now (nor anywhere near enough drivers of course but that's down to poor pay & conditions compared to other operators).

  5. you say this but i was at the park and ride today and no 42cs or 1s entered the park and ride at all, so not likely at the moment anything said is true
