Starting back up

Operators are looking to restart services with many starting up again as from the 1st June. Summercourt Travel have already registered their services restarting with all of these as from 31st May. The 405 provided by Robert & Sharon Ryder is also restarting from this date. Links below go through to the main route pages but timetables etc have yet to appear on Traveline although I am sure they will do very shortly.

    1. I believe they are all pretty much aiming to restart from 1st June - Certainly Stagecoach have put out press releases to that effect although their own web site is (or was last time I checked) silent on the matter, as is Citybus and TfC and First, probably still waiting on confirmation of funding etc

  2. Stagecoach ditched plans to increase to full services last Saturday due insufficient DfT funding & will continue Sunday services drivers were told

    1. I would imagine that is a temporary thing as it seems most Stagecoach ops have announced near full services from June 1st

  3. According to one correspondent, the uplift in services to 80 per cent will occur on 14th June.

  4. Stagecoach seem to have delayed any increase until 14 June in Devon drivers seem to have been told

  5. Looking at the services in Torquay (I live here), loadings are slightly up of late, but not to the extent that passengers can no longer social distance on the current timetables. I have noticed a couple of extras on the 12 this week though.

  6. Yes I think that an increase to 80% service on 14th June on time for further lifting of restrictions is the right call

    1. Why are virtually all other operators going for 31 May?

    2. Sadly wasn't planned though but due to its original 31 May near 100% uplift being hastily withdrawn when DfT confirmed lower than it expected funding a local controller said. The delay to 14 June is for new 80% uplift driver & vehicle duties to be conjured up. Presumably other operators got it more right first time?!
