Social Media Week 6-11 April

Most of our local transport operators are on social media and many of them use it to keep us up to date with any issues there may be along with promoting their own businesses. It is also used to share transport related news stories which you may have other wised missed. This is a snap shot of the last week (Saturday 6th - Friday 11th April)

Saturday 6 April

Plymouth Citybus: Unfortunately the service 70B due at Portwinkle at 16:53 has broken down on the Torpoint Ferry. Engineers are on their way but the service is liable to run very late Service 70B update: Unfortunately we will be unable to run the service 70B 16:53 from Portwrinkle due to a breakdown. The next service 70B will be at 17:53. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience

The next Southway service 40 from Royal parade will be at 19:00 We are sorry that we are unable to run the service 51 from Derriford Hospital at 20:57 this evening. The next service 51 from Derriford will be at 21:27. Our apologies for the non running of this service. We are sorry that we are unable to run the service 50 to Derriford from Royal parade at 20:15 this evening. The next service 50 from Royal parade will be at 20:45.. We are sorry that we are unable to run the service 23 to Mount Gould from Royal parade at 19:40 & 20:40 this evening. The next Mount Gould service 23 from Royal parade will be at 20:10 & 21:10.. We are sorry that we are unable to run the service 8 to Efford from Royal parade at 20:05 this evening. The next Efford service 9 from Royal parade will be at 20:35We are sorry that we are unable to run the service 33 to Keyham from Royal parade at 20:15 this evening. The next Keyham service 33 from Royal parade will be at 20:55

Stagecoach: PLYMOUTH the 1022 1 service from Royal Parade is currently not running due to technical problems, the service will run from 1047 Derriford Hospital, we are sorry for the delays.

Falcon: All Falcons are running about 30 minute late due to M5 and our route in Bristol has been blocked due to closed road and an RTC

Monday 8 April

Plymouth Citybus: Due to an incident in Launceston at the bridge near Tesco, outbound service 12 will divert via the A30 to Pengyllam junction. Inbound services will divert via South Petherwin, Condons shop, Coads Green & Bray Shop to Stoke Climsland

Unfortunately one of the PR3 buses has suffered a breakdown at William Prance Road. Engineers are on the way but there will be a temporary reduced service Due to a RTC blocking the road we are currently unable to serve Transit way. We apologise for any inconvenience.

To celebrate the Easter break, passengers aged 18 and under can travel on single journeys for just £1 a trip until Monday, April 22nd!

Stagecoach: The 0701 service 75 from Torrington to Bideford will run 15mins late apologies. the 90 service in Dartmouth is currently not running due to a breakdown, we have a bus on route to replace it, we are sorry for the delays PLYMOUTH the 89 service in Tavistock is currently not running due to a breakdown, we are sorry for the delays. PLYMOUTH the 17 service is currently not running due to a breakdown we are sorry for the delays.The Dartmouth P&R is operating with one vehicle only due to a broken down vehicle.

Tuesday 9 April

Plymouth Citybus: Unfortunately the service 20 has broken down in St Margarets Rd heading into Royal parade, the breakdown is blocking the road so other service 20's are being diverted via Plymouth Rd and Larkham Lane until we can recover the bus. Sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately we are unable to operate the 1722 service 43 from Royal Parade to Ernesettle due to an RTC, the next service 43 to ernesettle will leave royal Parade at 1737,

First Kernow: Please beware that there is a road closure at Phernyssick rd and Carclaze rd in St Austell this week and will affect the 27, 30 & 101 service it will be going via the by pass down Treverbyn rd missing out Carclaze rd, Phernyssick rd rejoining at Menear rd and the other way (NB) A17 service disruption Unfortunately due to a serious RTA at Newbridge the A3071 Penzance to St Just road is closed. We are diverting a limited number of A17 buses via Madron to maintain a limited service to St Just

Stagecoach: Exeter - Due to temporary 4 way traffic lights at Pinhoe Lloyds bank, All of our 1 services are currently experiencing delays of around 25 minutes, We are sorry for the inconvenience. PLYMOUTH the X38 from Buckfastleigh is running 45 minutes late due to an incident, we are sorry for the delays. PLYMOUTH due to a gas leak between Steer Point Road and Springfield Road (Elburton) the 3 service is on diversion cannot serve between Elburton Hotel on Brixton until futher notice, we are sorry for the delays.

Wednesday 10 April

Plymouth Citybus: Due to a Police incident at Launceston which has closed the road, we have diverted the service 12/12A in both directions via B3257 Coad's Green & B3254 South Petherwin sorry for any inconvenience

First Kernow: Due to a logistical error, the 07:11 service 21 from St Austell to Newquay will be running approximately 25 minutes late. We apologize for any inconvenience caused 1535 46 Truro tp redruth not running as per breakdown T1/T2 services Please be aware that due to the road closures/diversions at Roseworthy/Connor Downs combined with heavy traffic on the A30 diversion route we continue to suffer delays to both services. 1745 46 from Trurom to redruth not running as per breakdown

Stagecoach: Barnstaple 21 0923 Westward Ho! - Barnstaple will not operate due to a breakdown. Sorry for any inconvenience Barnstaple #Exeter 155 1245 Tiverton - Exeter will operate 30 minutes late. Sorry for any inconvenience Exeter - Due to gas works we are unable to serve the bus stops on Exwick Rd between Fairhazel Driver & Winchester Avenue.

Thursday 11 April

Plymouth Citybus: We are sorry that service 12A outbound from Plymouth due at Downgate at 0850 has broken down at Hatt -Engineers are on their way and a replacement bus will run the inbound journey from Callington to Plymouth sorry for any inconvenince this will cause 12A Update - Engineers now have the bus going and it will run the normal service but about 30 minutes late a seperate bus will cover the Callington estates to Downgate meaning the inbound service to Plymouth will run closer to time from Callington. Sorry for any inconvenience. We are sorry that we are unable to run the service 51 from Derriford Hospital at 18:57 this evening. The next service 51 from Derriford Hospital will be at 19:27. Our apologies for the non running of this service.

First Kernow: 47 service 08.17 Camborne to to Camborne did not run due to electrical fault 15.14 U4 Services From Porthleven Is Not Running Due To Mechanical Failure We Have Sent A Other Bus to Replace It. T1/T2 Services we have been informed by Cornwall Council that the Roseworthy/Connor Downs Closure will now continue next week until the 19th April (Good Friday). Our weekday diversions 7am 5pm will therefore have to continue next week Apologies but this is out of our control (PS)

Stagecoach: Barnstaple The 0705 service 155 to South Molton will run 15mins late apologies Plymouth The 14 service 17.30 from Powisland in to Town is not running due to a broken down Vehicle. Barnstaple 19 1720 Barnstaple - Roundswell will operate 10 minutes late due to a breakdown. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Friday 12 April

Plymouth Citybus: We are sorry we are unabale to run the 1735 service 42A from Royal Parade to Tamerton Foliot and the 1839 service 42B from Tamerton Foliot to Royal Parade. The next 42A from Royal Parade will be at 1810, and service 42A at 1903 from Tamerton Foliot. sorry for the inconvenience We apologise that we are unable to run the following three service 44's from Royal Parade to Whitliegh & Whitleigh to Royal Parade at: 2045, 2145 & 2245, the next service 44's will run at 2115, 2215 & 2315. Sorry for the inconvenience.  The roadworks on Oreston Rd have now been completed and the Service 5A is reverting back to operating it's normal route this evening with immediate effect.

First Kernow: ROADWORKS - Crinnis/Carlyon Bay - 15/4/19 - 16/4/19 0730-1700. We will be unable to serve Crinnis/Carlyon Bay due to roadworks near Charlestown School. The closest stops are Charlestown Church Rd, Holmbush Inn or Par Market. Apologies for any inconvenience. T2 service 06.17 Camborne to st Ives running 15 mins late due a driver not showing for work
