Rather more interesting news is the arrival of the missing MAN EcoCity from Anglia, WX62HGG.

This was badly damaged and will need quite a bit of work if its ever going to see service again. Its currently in the workshops at Milehouse where it will be assessed to see if its an economically viable project

  3. Dart 60 has been repainted in red swoops livery and now looks very smart. 61 is currently in the body shop and should be next into the paint shop.

    1. Interesting. Sounds good. Someone suggested these two were withdrawn but looks like there are taken out for body work refefurb and painting.

  4. It will be 700 all signs at the early stages are positive it can be repaired

  5. It would be good to see the MAN repaired and back in the roads with all the others that were transferred down, but economically it would be sensible to have it for spares. However Citybus did go to great lengths to repair 136 so we'll have to wait and see. Why did it take so long to come down and also why did Anglian not repair or leave it so long badly damaged?.

  6. I heard it be fleet number 700 if it gets rescued from the damage

  7. Hi Graham, so is the Green Flash purely operated by E200s nowadays as I originally thought two E400s were required for capacity issues on certain workings (school flows?) - indeed are there enough green E200s to cover all workings now?

  8. It would be good to see WX62HGG on the road again, Citybus did do a lot of work on 136 to get it back on the road but it would need a thorough assessment first. If not then of course a ready made source of spares for the other gas buses. Why did it take so long to get down here?, and why did Anglian not repair or scrap it for spares themselves?.
