On yer bike

Plymouth Citybus' last step entrance Dennis Dart was sitting around at Milehouse for quite some time but has now appeared with Plymouth Bike Hire where it was caught on camera this week by Richard Smith:

Very smart!

PT Recommends

  • Changing buses at some obscure or suburban location might be über-efficient but passengers will not accept that the resultant reduction in mileage (or an increase in frequency for the same resource) equates in the medium term to better value fares and sustainability Omnibuses
  • By way of celebration, Stagecoach, the present company owners, have painted one of their posh double decks in a sort-of-but-not-quite traditional livery ... Public Transport Experience
  • RATP Dev’s UK operations are an interesting mix of, well, everything. The only common thread among its UK constituents seems to be that there’s actually little in common between them. Omnibuses
  • fbb is assured that passenger vehicles are treated with a little more consideration and allowed access to "facilities", usually at the Dover terminal. It is only lorry drivers that are treated like third world refugees. Public Transport Experience

  2. Sunday and bank holiday 48, Wembury - City - Burrator returns from 29th March, every 1 hour 30 mins. Operated by First.. they managed to get council siubsidy for this again. That along with the enhanced plymouth services,,, seems more good news for once from First rather than just cut backs!!!
