First D&C Incoming Olympians

More Olympians for First Devon and Cornwall


News has come through of several more Volvo Olympian double deckers for First Devon and Cornwall. There are currently four sitting in the Plymouth depot: 34049/50/52 P249/50/52UCW which were originally new to Centrewest and 34181 S681AAE. All of these carry the smart Northern Counties Palatine2 bodywork which has to be one of the better looking bodies to grace an Olympian. It remains to be seen if any of these enter service in Plymouth or get sent down into Cornwall...

Welcome to the new look Plymothian Transit blog.

I aim to cover all forms of transport and transport infrastructure in the Plymouth area.
This new look enables me to feature larger photos and gives a lot more flexibilty in the post layout. I have now completed a bit more tidying up of the pages especially the bottom section where I have removed a few items which were not needed and reduced the amount of advertising. A few other slight changes hopefully improve the look of the site. As always comments and suggestions are welcome!
