  • With the new routes down as City Centre to City Centre with a couple of Via points it is hard to see what the full routes are but as the 13 is described as high frequency it suggests it is to compete with the 43, which is one of the busiest Citybus routes.
Less clear is the 12 City Centre to City Centre via Marsh Mills? I would hazard a guess this is either aimed at the Plympton routes or could be against the 50 although Derriford is not mentioned. All very vague but I am sure it wont be long before more details get released as First will really have to get the publicity machine working hard.
It remains to be seen how the Plymouth public react to the news as there is still a large amount of support for keeping Citybus in council hands and this is very clearly aimed against Citybus.

Of course we have been here before:

    1. if you came out on the 11's and chatted to the passengers, you'd see they were pleased we go there now, i expect it will be the same in the new areas too, a batch of B7's will be added to our depot soon!

    2. Thanks Anon. Will look forward to the B7s. Certainly the 11 seems to be fairly popular although they are still cutting the evening services back which might upset a few passnegers. It is certainly going to be interesting times in the coming months.
