Oceanique Towering above Plymouth
These images are from ADG who are the architects behind the 31 storey Oceanique development which as been given planning permission this week. It occupies the site of the former Westward TV / TSW Building in the City Centre and assuming it does get built will make a big impact on the city.
A few years ago I would have confidently been predicting that"it will never happen" as it seemed that these things never did happen. The past few years has seen a big change in the city and new developments seem to be springing up all over the place.

The building looks good in the generated images. My only concern is with its relationship with the areas and buildings around it - conveniently not shown in the pictures. Let us not forget that Plymouth was planned as a Beaux arts city - and the developers called the planning a 1960s mess!
