April 1988 and we see Atlantean ATK152W in the wonderfully unusual black white and red livery. Much criticised at the time it was soon softened by the addition of the red skirt which did improve matters, and in my own humble opinion was the best livery carried. It was certainly better than the awful grey skirt livery which soon followed. Note the Western National Hoppa in the background.
Bloody ell, I totally forgot Argos used to be at the top end of Royal Parade!!

You could add me to the list who didn't like the "black" livery, it seemed to show up dents and joins in the body quite badly. Also, the old style font used for the fleet number looked totally out of place, on what was a very eighties livery.
Note also the Cevette also in the background
