Although Plymouth Citybus has withdrawn and sold a few of its older coaches a short while ago it is still actively in the tours market and on Saturday was using Volvo coach 315 for promotions work in the City Centre
Other news reaches me that Citybus have possibly dabbled in a bit of route branding on one of the Mercedes 709s with lettering appearing for the 152 service on one of them. Full details yet to be confirmed but I will be keeping an eye out for this one!

A new coach livery must be on the cards for Citybus soon, it may have looked modern and trendy in the mid nineties, and still does to some extant, But a new look to match the buses is needed now.
ReplyDeleteI'm not too impressed with the news of route branding, but, my opinions might change when I get a look at it, and hopefully, Citybus might actually run the buses on the routes they are advertised for! Something First have never seemed able of..
