The weekly look at service changes across Devon & Cornwall. Due to the sheer size of the task, and the fact that my pc is running like a dog and taking ages to process anything, the posting will be slip into a few parts. Today we have the First Kernow routes. Tomorrow hopefully we will have Stagecoach and then finally Plymouth Citybus and the other operators with service changes on the 26th May, (although with a week to go Plymouth Citybus have yet to mention anything about their service changes…)

Just the heads up for anyone planing on useing the ride cornwall ticket as of monday first kernow have pulled out of the scheme due to indifferances over ticket prices(ride cornwall £2 cheaper then there day ticket under revised fares) details can be found on first kernows website
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip-off. First Kernow's statement puts the blame squarely on the rail operators not sorting out their pricing. Of course by far the dominant rail operator in Cornwall is GWR which is owned by, er, First...... You couldn't make it up.
