  1. This looks really smart... but why are they're not prioritising the Brighton Darts or the London Darts?

  2. Funny how a bus can look odd with the wrong route number on it. So used to seeing deckers on the 21/a route.

    Another smart looking Dart.

  3. 65 was involved in a major rtc in September which required a major front end re build, so needed painting.

  4. Looks like an SPD in the background being stripped for spares

    3. anonymous 21 dec at 16:39 and 19:56...
the Dart in the background is 33 T133EFJ having its engine attended to - not being stripped for spares!

    4. its bus 33 . might not be stripped, often long term repair buses go in there.

    5. Thanks for confirming that, it dawned on me that it was either 43 or one of the T-EFJ Darts

  6. Anon 21/12/15 19:56 - the only X-CFJ bus is 43, which still has a black band, the bus in the background does not
Anon 21/12/15 17:29 - the number plate clearly ends in J, the Brighton ones are HKA and HKB.

    Lets narrow it down:
    1. The plate ends in a J - 16-26, 29-40, 43, 137, 146, 209
    2. It does not have a black bands (therefore it is swooped) - 16, 17, 21, 22, 23, 25, 29, 33, 39, 137, 146, 209
    3. It is a dart - 16, 17, 21, 22, 23, 25, 29, 33, 39,
    4. The top line of the number plate possibly ends in a 3 - 23 or 33
My prediction is that it is 23 as I havent seen it on the road for a while and have recently seen 33.
It could be an engine/fire issue, and the window is covered, rather than it being stripped, the only swooped bus known to be being stripped is 59.
    Anyone have any more evidence?

  8. I can assure you that after zooming in on the pic(after clicking on it, which takes you to Flickr), you can clearly make out the the letters FJ through the windscreen of 202, she is identifiable as an SPD due to having a taller rear end!

  9. There aren't any Brighton Darts in the pic, PCB 202, 65 &whatever bus is lurking in the background, perhaps the tog himself would like to clarify?

  13. Hmm, 422, 423 and 424 sold to Target. That's all the full advert vehicles gone now. These are a little batch of their own X556/7/8 EGK. The damage to 424 from an accident last week obviously want to bad. I guess the rest of these will go soon too.
