Plym Valley Railway

Better late than never, a few photos taken on Sunday when 168 TTT168X was on the shuttle service linking Plymouth Station with the Plym Valley Railway for their Mince Pie Specials running day.

A quick video (taken with my digital camera so not brilliant quality)

then below we have my transport home 168 looking very smart as usual.
Well done to all involved at the PVR and the preservation group with their smart Atlanteans - always nice to see them back on the road.

Thanks once again to everyone who has contributed to Plymothian Transit over the past year either by allowing me to use their excellent photographs (there have been some great ones this year) or passing me information for use on the site. Thanks also to those who have left comments on the site as these often add interesting points, and often correct me when I make mistakes!

Thanks especially to Brian George, Terry Partridge, Ian Byrne, Ralph Delbridge, AecRegent, Rev Ian Kirby, Daniel Marker, Dave Boulter, Nick Rice, Tom & Louis, Sou'Wester, Plymouth City Council Transport Section, and many others.

Things will continue to be fairly quiet here for a few days over Christmas as of course family comes first.
Have a good Christmas everyone!

Welcome...

Welcome to the new look Plymothian Transit blog.

I aim to cover all forms of transport and transport infrastructure in the Plymouth area.
This new look enables me to feature larger photos and gives a lot more flexibilty in the post layout. I have now completed a bit more tidying up of the pages especially the bottom section where I have removed a few items which were not needed and reduced the amount of advertising. A few other slight changes hopefully improve the look of the site. As always comments and suggestions are welcome!
