RNLI

A £12.6m contract to build a fleet of high-tech lifeboats for the RNLI has been awarded to Plymouth's dockyard management firm DML.
The 16-metre Tamar class lifeboats have advanced technology and safety features, which the RNLI says are a major step forward in lifeboat design.

The company will build nine of the Tamar class lifeboats over the next three years.
