Surprise news from Stagecoach Devon is that three ex Megabus Olympians are due shortly for use on the X38 Plymouth to Exeter service!
The buses expected shortly comprise of

If these buses do turn up and are used on the X38 it would certainly raise the profile of the service as I would expect them to be suitable liveried and well presented as the rest of the SCD fleet. It will certainly be interesting riding on them through Ashburton!
If this happens it would be wonderful, as these are wonderful vehicles but I wouldn't hold your breath. They have all recently been modified with large luggage racks on the lower deck which reduces the capacity down to CH53/29Ft. I would imagine the toilets will be locked out of use if they do turn up at Exeter in the new year.
