300 today!

It seems fitting that this is my 300th post to this blog, which I must admit I didnt expect to last for that long or be that much fun to do. Now approaching 2500 hits and having quite a few regular visitors who often drop me notes etc which end up in the blog. Thanks to everyone out there who does make contact. Its nice to know I am not talking to myself!

Its also a good time to mention a program on BBC1 on Wednesday evening- details below from the Radio Times.

WEDNESDAY 24 MAY
South West on Film
7:00pm - 7:30pm
BBC1 South West
VIDEO Plus+: 5279
Sandra Smith delves into the archives and reveals some of the footage being made available for download via a new BBC website, reliving the highs and lows of life in the South West.

This is the program which I was interviewed for about this blog and how I might use the archive when it goes live. The first example being the short clip of buses in Union Street I posted back on 26th April. Quite how I will appear when the program goes out remains to be seen (aprt of the interview had to be reshot as the colours in my room were too bright!) but I am sure it will be an interesting program - even without Plymothian Transit being mentioned! Who knows - maybe a few more people will visit the site...
