They...Timetable changes for 29 and 43B in November? They're already changing them on October 6th!!

The new 103 looks set to replace the 109 and 115. The main 'use' of the 115 is for students travelling to PHSG from Plympton; if the 103 operates via the Embankment they'll have to all cram into the 20, which being a Mini Dart wouldn't cope anyway, and that's in addition to the morning peak commuters. If the 109 & 115 are to be withdrawn this will not be popular at all!

The 142 I'm surprised it's lasted as long as it has! The change to the 42 will most likely be the loss of the 1555 from Tamerton trip that comes off the 142. The supposed 104 will cause a few problems getting from Honicknowle to the Grammar schools too.

The one I'm the most interested is the 14 which seems to be more of a replacement of the 53 from Langage to St Budeaux/Stoke via Eggbuckland, Crownhill, West Park etc. It appears to go to Plymstock too!

I hope they return at least some deckers to the 34 in this round of changes; the 1706 inbound from Derriford 34 used to be a duplicate with 2 deckers and now has a ridiculous number of people crammed into a Dart! This same bus does the 0730 from Royal Parade/0747 from Devonport to Derriford 34 which too would be extremely busy. We'll wait and see!Tomnoreply@blogger.com
