This year ENCTS passes are accepted on the 271. Travel Devon states that the route will only serve Haytor and Widecombe-in-the-Moor this year as this will allow bigger buses to be used. It looks like the Widecombe service is a self-contained one-bus shuttle from Bovey numbered 271. There are six return journeys on Saturdays connecting with route 39 journeys at Bovey, these will also operate on Mondays to Fridays during the school Summer holidays. Interestingly it looks like the Summer Sunday double-run to Haldon Forest will not operate this year.
