Observant blog readers will, after due concentration, conclude that these news items are remarkably similar. Who copied from whom is not recorded but fbb would (were he a betting man) offer low odds on Hampshire County Council simply reprinting what Stagecoach sent them.

So What IS Happening?
There's a red dotted route and a red dashed route, both of which are covered by an explanation on the map. Which leaves the pink line, a complete secret from Stagecoach. The timetable is clear, to a point.

Moving down the river to my surprise was Blue Carmel who has come in to load up with scrap metal, a noisy and dirty old process. Thought it time something came in to take the scrap away as the pile has started to look like mount fuji.

‘First Hampshire & Dorset’ (FH&D) are the dominant operator in the area with the usual mixture of old and new buses in old and new liveries.
‘Barbie’ is now getting on in years but she is still alive and well......
I know it's rail week, but a small bus update. According to your updated fleet list 14 is off the road being repaired, it is now back on the road and was out on 40's today.
A Western Greyhound bus reversed into it in mid September. It is currently parked in the depot where 28 was, in a similar state being stripped for spares. 10 and 14 both returned to the road today following repairs. Always nice to see these old workhorses out earning their trade.
Yep that's the one Graham! It was the morning of Monday 8th September at the Rail Station inbound the accident happened. It was down the Lower Yard outside the tramshed with all the other withdrawn SLF's by Wednesday 10th September, and at some point between October 17th and October 22nd it was moved to C track where it currently is. I can't be more precise than that as it wasn't there on the 17th but was on the 22nd, so it was at some point between those two dates!
Could be the end of the road for Dart no. 10 as it had obviously had to be towed back to Milehouse and was parked next to the wash this evening (6th November) with the front panels missing. Hopefully it's nothing serious.

DeleteApparently a coach from another local company reversed into it. It's currently parked in the spot near C track that 28 occupied for a time.
